((Elysium, Deck 6, USS Artemis-A))
Silveira: Trust me, I had that bad habit of avoiding counselling myself.
::he raised his hands apologetically:: Forgive me but I sense there's a
lingering issue that's still bothering you.
Alyndra sighed, smiling at him
nervously.
Syrex: Is it that obvious?
Vitor’s head tilted, his smile
changed from supportive, to comforting. A niche observation to be sure, but
Alyndra was certain of it. She took another sip of her sweet and
chocolate-filled beverage.
Silveira: I have been around the Fleet for long enough to catch on
things. We can talk about it, or not. Whatever makes you comfortable Doc Rex.
Alyndra snorted.
Syrex: Well, I can’t talk about it now! I have to make a toy of myself
as a T-Rex!
Alyndra laughed, amused at her own joke.
Silveira: A Doctor T-Rex.
Syrex: I would like to talk about it, to be quite frank. I just don’t know where to start. And to be honest-
Alyndra took a deep sip of the remaining hot chocolate in her mug, which left a stain of brown on her lip. Licking it off with her tongue, she continued speaking, as if she’d never stopped.
Syrex: -I don’t think I’ll bore you with the details just yet. But I genuinely appreciate you taking an interest in my mental well-being.
Silveira: Completely understandable Doc Rex.
Alyndra smiled at him, before blinking back into her empty glass.
Syrex: Now that I’ve finished my drink, do you want to take this party back to my quarters to get started on that doll of yours?
Vitor nodded in agreement,
chugging the little that remained of his own drink.
Silveira: That
sounds perfect to me.
Alyndra smiled at him. As Vitor stood up, she rose out of her
seat simultaneously, pushing her chair back into the table.
Silveira: I hope
you have been settled in good quarters, and that you enjoy your stay.
Syrex: Oh yes,
thanks. They’re very comfy. The crew has been very welcoming so far.
The
pair began walking towards the turbolift settled in the corridor outside.
Silveira: In
general we are a very welcoming crew. And we take care of our own, even if they
are just visiting. Now I don't have any pictures of… ::he grinned
mischievously:: Our model, but we can use any official ones. And it's pretty
easy. She's the most beautiful and intelligent on board, although I might be
slightly partial. She's my girlfriend and I love her.
Alyndra smiled warmly.
Syrex: She sounds
very lucky to have you, you’re certainly very affectionate.
Silveira: Response
Syrex: It’s totally a good thing! Obviously I’ve not seen the two of you together, but I’m sure you make a cute couple.
Silveira: Response
Syrex: I’m waiting. Not just because the closest thing I’ve had to any relationship is… well. Actually, I think T’Fearne - my roommate- is the closest person I have to me.
Silveira: Response
Syrex: Dating doesn’t bode well for me generally. I have a very small, large fear that they’d just find me irritating and then leave.
Silveira: Response
Before Alyndra had a chance to answer the golden lieutenant, they reached the turbolift. Stepping inside, the doors clasped closed.
((Turbolift))
Syrex: Deck 3, Primary Hull
Silveira: Response
Syrex: Oh, Sorry. It’s a habit I picked up on the Ronin. The upper decks are actually split into two between our saucer section and the catamaran that attached to the nacelles and mission pod.
Silveira: Response
Syrex: It is a little. Our bridge is actually on Deck 3, not deck 1. So having my quarters on deck 3 feels… strange.
Silveira: Response
((Corridor, Deck 3, USS Artemis-A))
The turbolift doors snapped open. The illumination of the corridor filled the capsule, as the pair stepped out onto Deck 3.
Syrex: It’s just down here to the right.
Silveira: Response
