As the doors to the office closed behind them, Genkos gave Jovenan a relieved look, once she had cast a final look at the door. And whilst he looked relieved, she seemed confused. 

Adea: You okay? That was… interesting?

Jovenan: Yes, everything’s fine. ::pause:: I should ask the same from you, though. What do you think of him and the meeting?

Adea: I’m fine, it wasn’t what I expected from the meeting or from him, but I certainly learned a lot.

They walked across the mostly empty office corridor back to the lifts they had used on their way there, returning to the ground floor.

Jovenan: He’s a unique person, for certain, but also very Edo in a way. I hope he didn’t change your perception of my people. ::pause:: Or me.

Genkos looked over at Jovenan with a bemused look of affection plastered on his pale features.

Adea: Not at all, my friend. Not at all.

A short security check later, they found themselves outside again. Genkos wrinkled his nose again as the stench of Earth hit him - he was pleased that the majority of their buildings appeared to be air conditioned as that seemed to remove the sometimes overpowering scents of the planet.

Jovenan: I’m sorry about all that. I genuinely thought it would be more… political, and formal. It got rather personal at times. I hope you didn’t get too bored or embarrassed.

Adea: I can assure you, I was never bored. ::a grin:: And I’m Betazoid, we’re rarely embarrassed.

Jovenan gave him a slight smirk.

Jovenan: So, murder mysteries? If you ever need company, I’d be more than happy to repay the atrocities I made you sit through today.

It was Genkos’ turn to have a slight smirk, and he nodded.

Adea: That would be nice. I don’t do them very often any more - it’s often hard to find three or four hours of free time, but you’d be welcome to join.

Jovenan: Response

Adea: Plus, using the holodecks more will make him happy.

He indicated the Palais de Justice with a jerk of his thumb.

Jovenan: Response
