Genkos’ left hand slipped into his drawer and withdrew his tricorder. He had given Vitor the order to make an appointment with the counsellors, and had added the punishment of withdrawal from active duty if it was disobeyed. That being done, he was eager to change the subject.
Adea: Now that’s dealt with, I will actually start testing you. Let’s see if everything is all okay, shall we?
Vitor smiled.
Silveira: Of course. As I said physically I feel fine and I am betting you won't find anything out of the ordinary, besides my caffeine level.
Genkos started the scan, and was impressed with the man’s level of physical fitness.
Adea: You keep yourself fit, Vitor.
Silveira: The only positive thing with meeting CloQ was that I got a few years taken out of my back. They did a good job there, so I return to doing regular exercise to keep in good shape.
Genkos finished up his scan - the man was correct - he had an elevated caffeine level but apart from that Vitor was in top top condition. He replaced the doohickey back into the tricorder and retook his seat, staring at Vitor intensely for a moment.
Adea: There we go.
Vitor raised an eyebrow, tilting his head.
Silveira: So Doctor, tell me the news.
Genkos let out a low sigh.
Adea: I can give you a clean bill of health; you avoid consequences again, Mister Silveira.
Silveira: Response
Genkos let out a small laugh, then shook his head.
Adea: My order still stands - see Jashkaa. Dismissed.
Silveira: Response
Genkos waved his hand dismissively for Vitor to take the door out of his office. Rolling his eyes as the man left, Genkos picked up the PADD on his desk and looked at the results. CloQ’s meddling had given Vitor a new lease on life, he only hoped that the memories he had of Jovenan wouldn’t tarnish that.
