(( Captain’s Ready Room – Deck 1, USS Artemis-A ))

The Artemis was making its way towards the very place the three of them had gone to the last time they had visited the Resolution planet - on its day of forming. This time, however, there would be the opportunity to perhaps enjoy themselves until the last go around. There would be no JAG waiting for them, or court martial or inquiry, and perhaps no new officers propositioning the redhead behind the desk.

Nicholotti: How long till we arrive?

MacKenzie: Not too long, should be just over a day now.

Adea: ::looking over at Kalianna:: Long enough time?

Kali looked back. The right answer to that was never - time was always short when it meant that tomorrow was farewell again, but she'd learned to use her time wisely and purposefully.

Nicholotti: Just enough time to see the ship. I never did get a tour when they shipped me off to the Tholian border after all...

That brought Genkos to his feet, and Addison shook her head.

Adea: Well then, a glass of wine and a tour? You can see all the amazing sights… ::he pointed with his cane at the wall behind Addison’s head:: That used to be a hole.

Kali couldn't help but laugh at the beginning of the tour. What would come next?

MacKenzie: What a place to start.

Raising an eyebrow and smirking to her friend, she recalled another hole in a ship...

Nicholotti: What is it with you in command and holes in your ship? Those pastries never stood a chance.

Genkos returned, wine in hand.

Adea: Thankfully we’re mercifully devoid of any holographic puppets or cowboys, which I’m sure you’re thrilled by, Kalianna.

Smirks were shared all around.

MacKenzie: We should have known something was wrong with those Klingons much sooner. Remember the one that used to refer to us as milk-drinkers?

Adea: Nothing wrong with a bit of calcium.

Nicholotti: That one was a bit too much calcium. Hopefully he's enjoying his milk-free life somewhere else.

At that, Addison stood and waved to them.

MacKenzie: Come on. A lot of ground to cover.

(( Elysium – Deck 6, USS Artemis ))

The tour wasn't long or perhaps as interesting as her first walk through the Excalibur, but it gave her a view of Genkos' world on a day-to-day basis and she got a good look at her friend's boat. That made it more than worth the time and energy, not counting that it seemed like Addison had saved the best for last.

MacKenzie: …and this is our ship’s lounge, the Elysium. It’s a far warmer atmosphere than the standard mess hall up on deck 3.

Adea: And they have more sapphire wine - can I get you both anything.

Nicholotti: I'm in for another glass.

While it had not always been her go-to, it had certainly grown on her in the days, months, and years that she had been with Genkos. Now it was almost second nature, and in a way, it felt like she was home.

MacKenzie: Response

He placed the order and then returned to them, looking between them.

Adea: Gods, it is really nice to see the three of us in the same place again - just like old times.

MacKenzie: Response

Kali smiled. For the tears she had shed saying farewell not all that long ago, this moment felt natural and happy.

Nicholotti: It does. We certainly blazed some trails through these stars.

MacKenzie/Adea: Responses?

They had been thrown together on a whim and at a chance, and they'd run through space like chaos itself learning much about the universe, and each other, along the way. Change had come fast and hard, but it never did sever what they had built.

Nicholotti: I'm just glad we're all still here, you know?

After all, the Sheliak/Tholian incident and alliance, along with the activities surrounding Frontier day had taken from the fleet a great many amazing officers and people. It was, perhaps, the universe watching them somehow that had brought them all back to this point.

MacKenzie/Adea: Responses?

The drinks showed up just at the right time to keep that line of thinking from sinking too much further. Taking a sip, she smiled at her two closest confidants.

Nicholotti: What have I missed?

She'd pushed hard for the crew to stay together, which meant that she'd missed a few things. That was okay, because they were in good hands, but she was still curious.

MacKenzie/Adea: Response?
