Lieutenant Vailani Zoyara - The Bergmen Bailout

Something was wrong and Zoyara couldn't quite place it. Bergmen who had been pleasant and amendable until this point seemed distracted by the presence of Lt Commander Vel. 

The reference to Bugman told her that the relationship between these two may have not been cordial. She hoped that this wouldn't be a problem. 

The irony of herself being placed in the role of mediator was not lost on her. She'd often been on one of the opposing sides of mediation in the past and now had some sympathy for those who'd been forced to play referee in her many disputes through the years. Usually that was Gila-net. 

Vailani: I'd appreciate Commander Vel’s insights :: to Vel :: If you don't mind?

Vel: Response 

The junior officer sighed and held out the PADD that she had returned to him. She resisted the urge to scold him for his rudeness, instead accepting the PADD. It was clear that he did not intend to provide them with a verbal report and whilst she found his actions strange she understood that there was details missing that she'd endeavour to fill in as quickly as she was able too. 

If a reprimand was due it would be delivered swiftly. However she had a suspicion that it may be one of those loathsome soft skills she'd need to adopt in this case. 

In his favour he did offer a smile to her, then a less than pleasant glance at Vel. 

oO at least it's not me that's caused it, that's a welcome change Oo

She nodded in response, not that she had much time to countermand his decision as he no sooner turned and left them. 

Vailani: :: raised brow :: Lovers tiff?

She thought it best to cover all bases. 

Vel: Response

At that robust response she was most certainly left with a distinct impression that not only were they never lovers there was no way in phekk* that they'd ever be lovers. 

Vailani: In any case, I may be new here and you might've been in my shows a few days ago but he's one of my team and I apologise for his rudeness. I'll chat to him about that. Perhaps if you get his name correct next time he might be more … civil?
