The sparring match with Nat for her hand to hand certification was going… Well it was going a little painfully, but much less than Vito had expected. He was going to be sore for a couple of days but still went straight for her as a boxer on round one.

Cole: Then at least we’re finally being honest with each other.

Nat defended herself well and he realized she was catching his move so he stopped punching and went straight for a series of kicks, trying to get her off balance.

Although he had taunted her his next words were actually more of a praise.

Silveira: I see why your a Security officer

Cole: That almost sounded like praise.

Vitor raised his arm as if he was going to punch her, but in a quick faint he used his left one to grab her. Holding her arm Vitor tried to pull her towards him.

Silveira: You can do better than this…

Cole: Bold of you to assume this is the best part.

Nat used the pull against him, she turned and tried to drag him down. Vitor however was prepared and, relying on being heavier he managed to toss her, quickly stepping back.

Silveira: You should have known boldness is part of my character.

Nat hit the mat with an echoing violence, but came up low on one hand and one knee

Cole: Good counter. 

Silveira: I know.

Cole: My turn.

Nat pushed forward with purpose, and started punishing him. Vitor was forced back, but letting the adrenaline kick in, he blocked and began to counter strike Nat.

Silveira: Good swing. Now let's get serious. 

Cole: Response

Nat was faster, younger, and truthfully, a little more skilled in hand to hand than Vitor.

But he had been kicked, punched and stabbed enough times to be able to endure punishment. 

Silveira: Back to my turn. 

Cole: Response

After Nat replied Vitor pushed forward with cheer strength and it felt like they were Titans clashing. He managed to defend the swings against his head, but Nat wasn't holding when she repeatedly hit his torso. 

But not giving her room Vitor tackled her violently and both of them crashed violently on the mat.

He tossed her aside as he breathed heavily and began to stand up.

Everything hurt but he wasn’t over. 

Silveira: I… can… keep… this… all day…
