With Jetripar and Tamio away, and now under watch from one of the Da’al security forces,
It was time to get things rolling.

Vitor nodded and opened his arms. He knew there were too many questions at once, but that is how an investigation worked. And for now they needed to start getting answers.
And data.

He winked at Zie and offered the data rod to Breys.

Silveira: Care to do some of that Science magic you Blues are so well spoken for?

Breys: I’ll see what I can find.

MacKenzie: I'll lend a hand.

Vitor nodded and stepped out of their way.

Breys: So far everything seems standard, all the data uses the same formatting. None of the non-redacted schematics feel like neighboring tech.

MacKenzie: It's almost too perfect... As if it was manufactured to look this way.

Vitor wrinkled his forehead.

Silveira: Well maybe they formatted that way. Can you see when it was set up?

Breys: That’s a great idea, if the data is fine, what if they missed the data’s data?

That sounded a little redundant and he smiled.

Silveira: Something like that…

MacKenzie: What are you thinking, Ensign?

Breys was off to something.

Breys: Look at this ::she points her tricorder at where she installed the data rod:: minor quantum fluctuations. Normally that could be background noise, but this pattern is too regular.

Zie nodded slowly and Vitor leaned in closer, raising his eyebrow.

MacKenzie: Like it was planted?

Silveira: Or hacked?

Breys: The Klingons are known to use encryption at the quantum level,  but all that means for certain is some data on this rod passed through a Klingon computer at a point, or maybe just a computer someone bought from the Klingons.

Vitor arched an eyebrow.

Silveira: Circumstantial at best. What do you think Captain?

Before she could answer, they were interrupted by the chirp of her commbadge.

Munro: =/\= Commander Munro to Captain MacKenzie=/\=

MacKenzie: =/\= Go ahead, Commander. =/\=

Munro: =/\= The hangar’s been destroyed, while we were trying to locate a jamming device we appear to have triggered some kind of booby trap. I think it would be safe to assume that there may be other traps =/\=

Vitort stood straight after hearing that.

MacKenzie: =/\= What's the status of your team? =/\=

Munro: =/\= Everyone seems okay, Roy is checking them over now. I might have the location of the jamming device and :: pauses and looks at Imril :: Lt. Imril retrieved some information from the hangar files =/\=

MacKenzie: =/\= See what else you can uncover, but watch your step. =/\=

Munro: =/\= Understood, Captain. Munro out. =/\=

When the channel closed, Zie looked at him.

MacKenzie: Complications.

Silveira: Of the worst kind.

Breys: Response

Zie pointed at the console.

MacKenzie: Whatever we do, we should do it methodically... We don't want to risk any possible corruption of the files, in case someone sabotaged these as well.

Silveira: If you find anything suspicious or some link that doesn’t belong there don’t follow it Ensign.

Breys: Response
Vitor took out his own tricorder and began to change its settings.

Silveira: Captain, do you think we should sweep the place for explosives?

MacKenzie/Breys: Response

The Da’al Gard had certainly heard that, and likely the conversation between Munro and Zie, but he had remained impossible at least until Vitor’s words.
Vitor nodded and shrugged at the guard, a silent communication and with a simple nod the guard stepped to the same console that Jestripar had used to summon him.
Stepping closer to Zie and Breys he holstered his tricorder again.

Silveira: I believe the Da’al will do that work for us now.

MacKenzie/Breys: Response

Vitor grinned at Zie and looked around as the Da’al workers began to move and more guards arrived. He pointed to an empty console and turned Zie and Breys.

Silveira: I am so tempted to access one of their consoles…

MacKenzie/Breys: Response
