Jashkaa’s deep emerald eyes gazed at Gila as she sat opposite the Mizarian in the Orion’s office. The woman was here for a psychiatric appointment, and so far they were doing good work. By which I mean, Gila was making tiny baby steps towards possibly, one day, maybe being a well-adjusted person… Maybe.
Jashkaa: What about games? I can understand that anything too… strenuous… might not be in your list of greatest activities, but there must be some kind of “fun” activity that would entertain you.
Sadar: I, uhh... I swim? ::pauses:: I mean, I e-enjoy swimming. And cooking.
Jashkaa raised an eyebrow, a slight smile dancing around her lips.
Jashkaa: At the same time? That must be awfully difficult.
Sadar: ::furious shaking of hands:: Oh, no, nothing like that! I-It’s just, uhh... I-It’s, uhh... C-Calming?
Jashkaa nodded, and made another note on her PADD.
Jashkaa: I assume that’s because cooking involves following a set order of instructions. ::she raised a slender forefinger:: I recommend you schedule some time for both swimming and cooking over the next few days.
Gila slowly lowered her hands, her cheek folds vibrating uneasily.
Sadar: Y-Yes, I... I suppose so. I-I will do these things. A-As for the survey mission?
Jashkaa’s brows moved, almost imperceptibly, towards the middle of her forehead in a frown, but she controlled her face to ensure Gila could in no way pick up on it. Instead she slightly shook her head.
Jashkaa: We still have a few minutes left, Gila.
Sadar: Response
Jashkaa: With cooking, would you be up to hosting a dinner party - a few friends, a few drinks, a home cooked meal?
Sadar: Response
