The pastries were being eaten, Sam had herself a little cry and Nat was being an amazingly supportive person.
Cole: These are meant to be eaten with someone.
Richards: You’re a pretty great someone to share them with.
After getting herself situated back on the couch, Nat enjoyed a bite of her pastry.
Cole: So… ::chewing:: what do we want to do?
Richards: Well, since both the kiddos seem to be in a relatively good mood, I thought about taking them out around the ship. They haven’t met Jovenan yet. ::Looking between Nat and the babies:: Wanna join us?
Cole: hmmm ::swallowing her food:: I would love too.
The distractions were what really helped Sam get through the days when loneliness felt the strongest. Having someone around to keep her company was the best gift she could ask for from anyone. Thankfully Nat also seemed to be enjoying her time, which made it even more enjoyable.
Richards: I’m just going to change them into their cute little planet outfits their Aunt Robin helped pick out and we can be on our way.
Cole: ::smiling:: that sounds adorable.
In one quick motion, Sam moved off the couch and lifted Leera up before turning towards Natasha, who didn’t indicate that she wanted to help, but Sam put her on the spot regardless.
Richards: By all means, if you want to help! Even with Leera’s less-than-useful leg, getting her dressed is like wrestling a very tiny but strong bag of snakes. ::smirking:: But I think you can handle her.
Natasha tilted her head and made a face at Leera.
Cole: Sounds like she’s just feisty like her mom.
Richards: Gods help us all if she’s just like me.
Sam chuckled and set Leera down on the couch. The small baby stretched before relentlessly fighting against the change of clothing.
Cole: ::to Leera:: be gentle, I’d hate for it to get out that I got beat up by a newborn. ::giving Sam a wink::
Richards: I won’t tell a soul.
Sam continued to be as gentle as possible, while still dressing the small redheaded beta-bean. Nat valiantly tried to distract the baby, wiggling her fingers and making sounds at her. Leera flailed a little.
Cole: Almost got me.
Finally, Sam finished getting the outfit on Leera and passed her over to Nat.
Richards: Thankfully her brother is a bit easier to handle.
Cole: Response
With both babies dressed and ready, the two women each packed a baby in their arms and they headed off to find Jovenan.

With a smile, Sam activated the chime and waited.
Jovenan: Response
Sam and Nat made their way inside the office.
Richards: I brought a couple people I wanted you to meet. ::smiling:: I also brought Nat, but you know her already.
Jovenan/Cole: Response
Moving in closer to the Edo woman, Sam lifted Aven up, so Jovenan could see him better, wondering if she could see how much he looked like Talos.
Richards: ::To Jovenan:: Do you want to hold one of them?
Jovenan/Cole: Response
