When Gila had asked to help out on Earth, Genkos had put down his biscuit, and interlaced his hands across his stomach as he considered her request. Now, however, he picked up the biscuit and nibbled it, before waving the remainder absent-mindedly.
Adea: Have you been to Earth before?
Gila slowly nodded, visibly more at ease now that her request had been made and accepted.
Sadar: Y-Yes Sir. I studied at the SanFran Campus for the first two years of my time at the Academy.
Genkos chewed the biscuit thoughtfully, wondering if perhaps he had missed out by studying on Betazed.
Adea: Did you do much exploring?
Gila looked slightly embarrassed, which wasn’t surprising - it was her default state.
Sadar: Uhh... N-No. I must admit I saw precious little of the planet during that time... ::cheek folds vibrate:: I rarely left Campus, as I’m sure you can imagine.
Adea: Understandable. I hear there are parts of Earth that are very nice, not that I’ve really seen them myself. Try not to miss out.
Sadar: I’ll, uh, take that under advisement, though I doubt I’ll have much time for sightseeing, considering the state of Earth’s crisis sites... ::wrings her hands nervously:: I-I’m relieved that the Artemis wasn’t hit as hard… Though I was concerned when I saw the state of Deck 1 on the shuttle’s approach. ::awkward pause:: Is it true that wasn’t the Borg’s doing?
Genkos pursed his lips in a subtle show of amusement.
Adea: That’s what I’ve heard. Rumour has it that a certain admirer of hers had overestimated her tolerance for spicy food.
Sadar: Response
Genkos shook his head and waved a hand absently, even as the tears of laughter brimmed at his eyes.
Adea: No, no, I don’t actually have any insider information. ::Suddenly serious:: If you need any help down there, please do get in touch. As the humans say, mi sickbay es su sickbay.

Adea: No idea, but it sounds great.
