Vitor had quietly stormed over Sada’s place and was now giving his Welcoming gifts to Sada and Kolya.

Silveira: Sada and Kolya, I got you both a welcoming gift. I thought of bringing something to eat but I think these are right up your alley, especially yours Sada. Let’s unwrap them.

Sadar: P-Presents? But I-

Aqila: I think I like presents :: looks to the unopened gift from Lyara ::

Winking Vitor joined in their efforts and in a few seconds they had uncovered the gifts.
The big one was a large lamp, with a round base at the bottom, about 1,6 mt high. The pole had a set of buttons around waist high, and it ended up with a caduceus symbol that lighten up when turned on

Vitor tipped his head to Sada.

Silveira: I thought this would suit you. I believe you recognize the symbol.

Sadar: I-It’s a Caduceus lamp... ::slight smile:: Thank you, Sil-net. That’s very kind of you.

For Kolya he had obviously chosen something that was age appropriate. Although Vitor now realized that could also be the lamp's possible nemesis. A football.

Silveira: And that Kolya is a football, it’s an exact replica from the one that Portugal, my home place, used when they won their first major international competition.
I will set us up a holoprogram for us to play with it. Its a good exercise and someone has to teach you some proper games.

He winked again at Sada, he could have always offered to teach Kolya how to fire the ships weapons instead.

Sadar: ::blinks:: F-Football? Oh, uhh, a sport. You... Kick the ball?

Kolya unwrapped it like the kid he was and handled it carefully, maybe a little confused.
Vitor smiled as the kid looked confused.

Aqila: :: hushed wonder :: A foot ball … :: looks to Silveira :: I … :: looks to Gila :: What does he want me to do with it?

Vitro winked and tipped his head.

Silveira: Trust me kiddo, I will teach you all the skills you need to use it. It will help you to grow healthy and handsome

Sada whispered something to Kolya but Vitor only heard the last part.

Sadar: Take your presents to your room, Kolya.

Aqila: Yes, Dona. Thank you for my :: looks at the ball :: Gift.

Vitor nodded and Al joined them.

Lyara: So Dr. Sadar, how’s it having your nephew here? Doesn’t keep you too busy I hope.

Sadar: A-Arguably, less busy. Having Kolya here- ::looks towards the door Kolya disappeared through:: Having someone who’s waiting for you to get off work is... odd.

Vitor nodded. Although he was an absent father, and never took care exclusively of Jonathan, he knew how demanding children could be.

Silveira: You'll get used to it. It’s an adjustment but I am sure you can do it.

Lyara: Well if you ever need some babysitting I'd be willing to help. ::Motioning to Sil:: And I’m sure crazy uncle would be a great influence.

Sada’s reaction was almost priceless, but Vitor managed to suppress a laugh.

Sadar: ... Y-You’re not- I-I-I mean, h-he’s hardly a baby! H-He’ll undertake his Walk of Acceptance in two years!

Still he wasn’t letting Sada get away with it that easily. He pointed to himself and Al.

Silveira: Oh, are you saying me and Al aren’t able to?

Lyara: Response

Sadar: O-Oh, uhh... No, that’s…

Vitor grinned at Al and winked.

Silveira: Care to explain… Doctor?

Lyara: Response

Sadar: H-He’s staying while he’s studying. Mizabet doesn’t have an, uhh.. An ’arts degree’, and Kolya is.. ::searches for the best word:: ‘stubborn’.

Vitor felt like Sada was… Proud? Was he reading it correctly?
He admittedly still felt he needed to know Sada better, but he had always in his mind that she was unique.

Silveira: That’s good. Did he always show interest in Arts?

Lyara/Sadar: Response

Any: Response

Vitor nodded. It was fascinating how different cultures and species had different views of things.

Silveira: Well, if I hadn’t enrolled at the Academy I would either work with my parents in their trading company, or go for a University degree in History.
Admittedly, with all that I… ::He smiled and looked at them:: We… Have been through, I still don’t regret it.

Lyara/Sadar: Response

Any: Response

Since the conversation was taking a serious turn Vitor couldn’t resist, and, as the portuguese expression goes, add his little spoon.

Silveira: Well, when Kolya is free I can help him socialize. There aren’t that many kids here but… ::he winked at Al, before looking at Sada:: I can teach him about interspecies relationships.

Lyara/Sadar: Response

Any: Response
