Genkos ran a hand through his hair as he looked between two of the most important people in his life. One, the love of his life, and the other the Captain and friend he’d had for so many years. The first time they met, she’d brought him a bottle of his favourite drink - it was always time to return the favour.
Adea: Well, we’ve done well, the crew’ve done well… Sapphire wine anyone?
Kalianna laughed and shook her head as if she had known this was coming all along. Genkos’ eyes twinkled with delight in response.
Nicholotti: Of course...::To Addison.:: Are we officially on leave, captain?
MacKenzie: Response
A smile spread on Kalianna’s face, and Genkos slipped out a hand to grab hers, and gave it a little squeeze.
Nicholotti: How long till we arrive?
MacKenzie: Response?
Adea: ::looking over at Kalianna:: Long enough time?
Nicholotti: Just enough time to see the ship. I never did get a tour when they shipped me off to the Tholian border after all...
Genkos pushed down on his cane as he stood up, his other hand still clutching at Kalianna’s. He resisted the urge to lean down and give it a kiss.
Adea: Well then, a glass of wine and a tour? You can see all the amazing sights… ::he pointed with his cane at the wall behind Addison’s head:: That used to be a hole.
MacKenzie/Nicholotti: Response
Genkos replicated three glasses of the rich, blue liquid and handed them out.
Adea: Thankfully we’re mercifully devoid of any holographic puppets or cowboys, which I’m sure you’re thrilled by, Kalianna.
