(( Elysium – Deck 5, USS Artemis-A ))
MacKenzie: What about the others? You think they’ll go along with it?
Genkos waved his hand dismissively.
Adea: Some will.
Stennes: Response
She shrugged as dismissively as Genkos’s wave had been.
MacKenzie: Recall everyone back to the Desdemona – there’s work to be done, and we can't risk anyone overhearing. Once everyone is up to speed, we’ll get a plan in motion just like we did infiltrating the Shint cruiser. In the meantime, I’ll try to massage our hosts… make them think we’re making preparations to return to our own universe…
Adea: Will do. I’ll go visit my own quarters for a moment, just to let him know what’s coming.
MacKenzie: Give him a pat on the head for me. The poor chap seems far too innocent for his own good.
Stennes: Responses
Genkos stood, smirking once more and walked
out of the bar. Addison finished the rest of her drink, placed the glass back
on the table, and made her way out the door.

(( Bridge, USS Desdemona ))
Addison MacKenzie, much like her Artemis counterpart, suffered no fools. But, if there was one thing the captain of the Desdemona couldn’t do, it was stand aside as this Starfleet prepared to send her and her crew back to a universe where their fate was all but sealed. After all, the Shint were likely to decimate what was left of any resistance within the span of a year – defeat was all but inevitable. Now, not only had they managed to escape that reality, but they found weapons that could decimate the Shint and turning the tide in their favor. And she was supposed to just roll over and go back?
Absolutely. Not.
She summoned several of her senior advisors to the bridge to discuss the details of their escape. Sitting in the captain’s chair, looking around at those assembled, she knew the task ahead would be difficult, if not impossible, but she also knew her crew to be resourceful… If any of them were able to pull this off, it would be them.
They’d managed to survive this far, after all.
MacKenzie: I absolutely will not accept going back to our reality without their weapons. They won’t give us any, and the Desdemona couldn’t support the amount of energy they’d take, anyway, our only option is to hijack the Artemis.
Dakora/Adea/Stennes/Yellir: Responses
She nodded slowly, taking a moment to look each of them in the eyes. They were the group she trusted most. She’d served with each of them to varying degrees of length, but their loyalty was without question, and she knew each of them could appreciate the gravity of what she was asking.
MacKenzie: What have you learned about our counterparts in your time with them?
Dakora/Adea/Stennes/Yellir: Responses
MacKenzie: So, just what’s it going to take to the be able to pull this off?
Dakora/Adea/Stennes/Yellir: Responses
She pursed her lips.
MacKenzie: I was afraid you would say that. Adea, you and Yellir will be responsible for seeing just how much access Commander Adea has. You'll be responsible for getting us some of their weapons, and locking them out of as much as possible. If I were you, I'd enlist the help of Jovenan, Kuva, and Chevalier.
Adea/Yellir: Response
MacKenzie: Dakora, you and Stennes will take everyone who's left and put together the plan for how we're going to take their ship.
Dakora/Stennes: Response
Her eyes shifted back and forth between them all.
MacKenzie: I know I don't have to remind you the importance of discretion...
Dakora/Adea/Stennes/Yellir: Responses
