It really hadn’t felt like much time had passed since Sam was last sitting down in front of the Captain, thanking her for allowing the visit that ended up being a pivotal moment in Sam’s life.
This time around Sam was undeniably pregnant and surprisingly a lot less nervous– that was until she activated the door chime.
MacKenzie: Response
The doors swooshed open as Sam was catching what appeared to be the Captain reviewing an automated voice message.

Sam had sat down across from the Captain and waited patiently until the message had ended before giving her a grin.
Richards: I can only imagine how excited you are to have me back, and under more permanent conditions this time.
MacKenzie: Response
Richards: Thank you for bringing me on with the Science Department. Although, I will have to take a little bit of time off in the fall. ::Rubbing her belly:: I tried to tell Talos he should give birth to them, but he said no. Something about the “wrong equipment”.
Sam shrugged and let out a breathy laugh.
