[PNPC] LtCmdr. Jashkaa - Fun out of the Sun

Jashkaa crossed and re-crossed her legs, her long green fingers making another note on the PADD in front of her. She was telling herself to send Gila a pamphlet on “why relaxation is important”.

Jashkaa: Well then, Gila, tell me - what’s your ideal shore leave?

Whatever Gila had anticipated Jashkaa to say, it was not that, and the shock was showing on her face.

Sadar: I-Ideal shore leave?

Jashkaa’s face, however, remained impassive, and her deep green eyes stayed focused on her patient’s.

Jashkaa: Yes, Gila. Where could we go that would make Gila Sadar completely relax?

For once, Gila paused to think without twisting that ridiculous ring of hers. It was Jashkaa’s long term plan to rid Gila of the jewellery once and for all, as it may have made her feel better in the moment, but did nothing to deal with longer term stresses.

Sadar: I, uhh... I think I’d... P-Perhaps visiting an archaeological dig site? Or a cultural festival? I... M-My sole ‘hobby’, I think, is studying other species’ cultures and histories. ::considers genuinely:: I also quite like visiting art museums. It’s an, uh, shared hobby with my nephew.

Jashkaa nodded, and very quickly looked at a list of cultural venues on Risa. She brought up a Risan museum of history on the screen at her elbow.

Jashkaa: Perhaps you could take your nephew to one of the many museums on Risa - this one focuses on Risan history and pre-history.

Sadar: ... I hadn’t considered that. ::looks down in thought:: I think... I think he would enjoy the opportunity.

Jashkaa’s eyes twinkled slightly as she could see a small breakthrough on the horizon.

Jashkaa: Well, I recommend you make plans to visit the museum Gila.

Sadar: Response

Jashkaa: What about games? I can understand that anything too… strenuous… might not be in your list of greatest activities, but there must be some kind of “fun” activity that would entertain you.
