(( Hermitage, Northern Plains, Rylor ))
Jaran: ::loudly from inside:: You can just come on in!
The door creaked open and Munro walked in, looking around.
Munro: I'm learning a lot about you this morning, Doctor Jaran. You like beautiful locations. And you don't like material things?
Jira chuckled at this.
Jaran: I do indeed love beautiful locations. Save for the colour, this place reminds me a lot of home, too. As far as material things, well... sometimes it's nice to get away from distractions. But I'm definitely glad you could join me!
Munro: Thank you, doctor, I haven't had a chance to come planetside yet and this is a wonderful introduction to Rylor :: sniffs :: And that smells delicious, is that fresh pastry? :: Ava points outside :: It's so nice out, should we have breakfast outside?
Jira was enjoying seeing the commander's reactions. This was a woman who definitely needed a break from bulkheads and warp cores and duty rosters.
They crossed to the kitchen and picked up the wicker tray of pastries from the counter. Prylar Letal had ensured the kitchen was well stocked with local ingredients, and Jira had been a little overzealous with the novelty of being able to bake again.
Jaran: Pastries! I went a little overboard. I made groatcakes and three different types of droli, since I couldn't decide. Traditionally, these retreats are meant to be meat-free, so I apologise that I don't have any to offer you, as well. But yes, let's go outside. There's a bench that looks over the hills we can sit on.
Munro: After you.
Jira picked up a small bottle with a viscous substance to take along with the tray, stacked a couple plates on the tray as well, then walked to the back door.
