((Operations Center, Deck 5 - USS Artemis))
Before shoreleave officially ended, Charlotte knew she needed to get better aligned and in tune with the ship and more of the crew itself. Going from Security to Strategic Operations was a bit of a hurdle. She knew she could handle it, but that was going to take preparations on her part. Integrating herself with the ship and the crew was crucial to do her job.
As she stood in the Ops center, her eyes and senses reached around the room. A particularly calm presence came from one officer and she narrowed in on him.
Brexis: Hey! ::snapping her fingers and pointing:: You!
Bergmen: Response
She nodded affirmatively.
Brexis: Yes. You. ::Holding out her hand as she stepped closer:: I am Lieutenant JG Charlotte Brexis, your new Strategic Operations Officer.
Bergmen: Response
Her posture relaxed just a bit upon learning the man's name. She had heard about him. Kind and well rounded. She didn’t feel the need to be overly professional to someone with that particular characterization.
Brexis: I did have a few questions about some of the logistics and readiness of the ship. Are you available to run over some of that with me?
Bergmen: Response
She smiled and held out her hand to gesture in a vague direction.
Brexis: Wherever you want to start. It’s imperative that I understand how ready the ship is for emergencies, combat and just overall logistics.
Bergmen: Response
