There was a strange sense of deja-vu as she walked up to the door of Talos’ office. Though things had arguably changed a massive amount since the last time she anxiously stood outside of his office and readied herself to see him again.
Even though there was a whole abundance of changes happening all at once, and so much newness to contend with, she felt a peace in finally being able to call the Artemis her new home and having Talos by her side through the second half of her pregnancy.
With one hand resting on her belly, the other one activated the door chime.
Dakora: Response
With a grin, Sam stepped into the office. Her eyes falling on Talos and instantly feeling the warmth spread through her.
Richards: You know, I don’t think it’s fair that I had to be the one to come find you. ::Playfully:: Aren’t boyfriends supposed to be more attentive than that?
Dakora: Response
Before she knew it, her arms were wrapped around him tightly, pushing herself onto her toes to kiss him before taking his hands and placing them on her belly.
She watched his face as the babies moved and kicked at his hands.
Richards: We missed you. ::Looking up at him:: You’re stuck with us now. I already had my stuff taken to your– ::raising her eyebrow:: – our? Quarters. ::Shrugging:: Either way, this is home now.
Dakora: Response
They stood in content silence for a moment before Sam gestured to the planet outside the window with a mischievous smile.
Richards: You know… I’ve never been to Risa before.
Dakora: Response
