Mistakes… Vitor made a lot of those over the years. Some were much more serious than others. Some were made with good intent.
And some were the result of his sense of humor, born out of his chaotic mind.
Truth be told Vitor wasn’t such a staunch believer that one can joke with everything.
At least not anymore. Likely some hints of maturity that finally caught up.
But just hints. If he was truly mature and had grown up he wouldn’t be where he was.
He would have cleared everything with Virtavi-Yaros, instead of being roped into this… Gathering.
Better yet he would have deleted the damn profile.
Both of them.
He had to admit the place was rather nice, and although he wasn’t exactly dressed to the part, or party, he had a light blue shirt and light brown pants, as casual and comfortable as possible. Vitor looked down realising he was actually well dressed for this kind of party.
oO Dammit… I should have replicated a uniform… Oo
He took a discreet seat and simply looked at the view as the room began to fill. He narrowed his eyes when he recognized Lieutenant K’Wara, wondering if there would be more of the Artemis crew there.
He wondered if by chance Gnai might attend as well. He would love to see him, but knowing their profile in Starflirt it could go so wrong.
And Vitor knew it much better than Gnai. After all, he was the one that created it.
To his surprise K’Wara ended up sitting at his table. He smiled awkwardly and was about to greet his comrade when the “ceremony” began.
Virtavi-Yaros: Welcome, one and all. My heart is quite full to see such a glittering assembly - both dear friends of long standing and those whom it is our new privilege to know - as we mark the start of another Galactic Year amongst the stars. To those venturing into our company for the first time, I beg you to set your minds at ease; there is no cause for trepidation. Simply find a pleasant companion, partake of the refreshments, and should the chime sound, you need only await the arrival of a new acquaintance. ::smiles graciously:: I wish you a most enjoyable evening.
Vitor simply smiled as K’warda smirked and leaned forward to him.
K’Wara: Vitor Silveira, I presume? ::eyes outfit:: You dress up nicely. Teal is a nice color for you.
Vitor arched his eyebrow and nodded, looking down before turning back to K’Wara.
Silveira: Actually it's light blue. But let me appraise you on your own outfit, you also look very good. I see my reputation precedes me… Lieutenant K’Wara.
K’Wara: I’ve heard much, most of it quite interesting. ::smiles:: Let me guess; you forgot to alter the details on your profile after you and Jovenan got together?
Vitor shrugged and opened his arms, letting his hands float at his side as he nodded.
Silveira: Guilty as charged. I was almost dragged to this event.
K’Wara: Yes, Miss Virtavi-Yaros can be quite... Persuasive. oO And persistent Oo ::chuckles:: Well, no need to fret about it. It’s just polite conversation, after all, and frankly, it was high time we chatted.
Vitor nodded and leaned back on his chair.
Silveira: Oh yes, the good thing about this is that we are finally able to properly meet. And please, call me Sil or Vitor, we are on shore leave after all. How are you finding your time on the Artemis?
K’Wara: Response
Vitor smiled as a waiter began to serve some drinks, he casually picked one and took a sip from it. He winced at the taste of it and set it down rather quickly.
Silveira: It’s one of the best ships and crew I ever served with, no question about it. I am glad that you are part of the family. ::Vitor leaned forward waving his finger in the air:: And how did you get into this? Did Virtavi-Yaros “recruited” you?
K’Wara: Response
Vitor nodded and leaned back. It was rather interesting. For him it was simply a joke. And considering he had set up a fake profile for someone else, a very bad taste joke.
Silveira: Believe it or not it was a mistake… Well it started as a joke, when I set up my profile, but honestly it turned out to be a mistake. ::he tipped his head sideways:: Admittedly done worse because I haven’t updated it. I think that in my profile I am still serving on the Excalibur…
