Addison squeezed Kalianna’s shoulders once more before giving them a nod and heading for the door. Genkos turned back to Kalianna and slipped both arms around her for a little cuddle, opening his mind to hers as he did so, a total entanglement; physical and mental.

Adea: ~ Alone at last ~

Eyes still closed, Kalianna smiled softly. Genkos observed the expression with a swell of affection and adoration in his breast.

Nicholotti: ~ Well, sort of...~

In the background, there was the dull murmur of other patrons in the establishment, but none of them seemed to be interested in the two command officers in the corner. That suited them both just fine, and they continued to communicate telepathically - to avoid any kind of eavesdroppers.

Adea: ~ It’s so good to see you, to feel you, in person, at last. ~

Nicholotti: ~ It's been too long. ~ 

And it had been. It broke his heart every time he thought about the distance that normally parted them.

Adea: ~ But being with you is worth every second. ~

Opening her eyes finally, she grinned, which raised his heart rate considerably.

Nicholotti: ~ Let's go actually be alone.~

It was his turn to grin, and he squeezed her tightly as he responded.

Adea: ~ Yes… let’s ~

Nearly popping to her feet she took his hands and all but pulled him up towards her, holding him as he held her for what she demanded be the longest moment in history. The heave-ho was partially practical, as getting to his feet was not one of his strong suits, but the emotional weight of it was also beautiful.
