(( Visitor’s Lounge / Multi function Area - Secret Compound, Surface of Moric (Moon of Galaris VI) ))

Vef-Lai: This is not a negotiation scum. I repeat, and if I do not receive a clear answer I will cut out the tongue of this one :: points to Silveira ::

Vef-Lai looked to the Mizarian beast who had taken to its feet and instinctively he took a half step backwards before he squared his shoulders confidently to overcompensate. There was something wrong with that one.

Fear was a useful emotion he had always found and he forced himself to look directly at the Mizarian creature.

Silveira: You're not exactly the first one to feel tempted to do so. But if this isn’t a negotiation what is it then? Don’t play hard ball Mister Grand Marshal. You're a warrior, and a warrior knows that sometimes the best blows aren’t those done by the sword, but those done with the shield. You kill us and you have the Federation at your ankles giving it casus belli.

As the human spoke, one of his Kobyar adjutants approached, and he raised his hand dismissively towards the scum.

Words from cowering imbeciles could wait when he had more important things to consider. Such as his Orion visitors and his weapon. It was all he was focused on and he was becoming tired of the Starfleet abominations.

Sadar: R-Right now, a-all you’ve done is d-detain us after wrongful infiltration of your facility. Th-That can be excused.

Even the words it spoke struck him. Her eyes were those of monsters in the Kobyar museums of their world. Dead. Dangerous. And malicious.

The Kobyar leaned closer to him and whispered to his ear informing him the Orion were on approach and the Artemis was heading to intercept.

Vailani: As my colleague stated earlier, we don't have the authority to provide those things, Major Oolwi and General Kexxin are not our prisoners to exchange. Let me be clear about one thing that you can be absolutely sure of, if you harm any Starfleet officer you'll have a lot more than one starship to worry about. You'll have the entire might of Starfleet bearing down on you. This coup you plan, will be for nought. Don't force us to take a side because you might not like it.

He had become disinterested in them, the novelty of a space battle beckoned him and he found that he would very much like to see this Starfleet in action.

It was at that moment he decided that after he had toyed with them some more, he'd instruct the Grunden to tear at them, and he had seen the torture methods of Grunden reduce the most hardened to blubbering mules.

Vef-Lai: I don't worry about Starfleet, I have friends and my weapon.

Silveira: If I were you I would worry with your supplier.

Vef-Lai cast a glance towards the foolish smuggler and then returned his focus to his human kin.

Vef-Lai: The smuggler should be the one who worries, I will not be crossed.

Vef-Lai smiled, as he thought of how the human would scream when the Grunden claws removed his eyes. He had felt the pain of those claws himself and a feeble human was nothing to them.

Silveira: We had dealings with your friend O'Connor before.

Vailani: :: loud enough for O'Connor to hear :: Who does he work for? He knows the consequences of his actions and he must know that whoever it is can't protect him.

Vef-Lai: He works for my allies. That means he belongs to me. As you all do and I'd be more concerned about that.

Vef-Lai raised his arm and reached out towards the Bajorans neck. So delicate and fragile.

oO snap Oo

That's all it would take.

Bergmen: Trust me, his spine is one of a protozoan, and about his reliability... I would rather not send him for something you needed yesterday… Talking from firsthand experience.

He wondered if Gideon was able to speak and Vef-Lai couldn't help but he curious at the soft looking one.

Vef-Lai: You can talk :: laughs :: I thought you had a sickness in your head.

Vef-Lai turned to the Grunden and Kobyar soldiers and they all laughed. He wondered if the boy would cry. No, he hoped the boy would cry. To his surprise he stood up.

Bergmen: Dig your own grave, Marshall, if you want. You know who you share your bed with.

Perhaps he'd keep the boy around as a pet. A fond memory of the time he became Supreme Ruler. His ruminations were interrupted by the increasingly annoying Bajoran woman. He couldn't wait to kill these scum.

Vailani: What is the purpose of all of this? You brought Kobyar and Grunden forces together … what for? To destroy both cultures?

Silveira/Bergmen: Response

Vef-Lai: From war we forge a new way of life. War is Life. You forget Bajoran, you entered our compound and you'll suffer for that.

He indicated for the Kobyar elite force and the Grunden soldiers to get closer.

Sadar: B-But we only came here because we thought it was O’Connor’s facility. W-We never received any indication that the Kobyar had space installations.

Vailani: Our laws would prevent us from interfering in your conflict. Keeping us here, and threatening us or :: beat :: harming us, will only go against what you are hoping to achieve.

He could smell the fear from them. It was glorious.

Silveira/Bergmen: Response

Vef-Lai: You don't know what I want to achieve, or hope to accomplish. You are soft :: his eye stopped at the Mizarian :: Ugly things :: to his Kobyar elite adjutant :: Have the Orion come with our deliveries?

Sadar: ‘Deliveries’?

Vef-Lai eyed the Mizarian with suspicion.

Vailani: :: harsh :: That’s pathetic. Here I was expecting some genius level plan, and what do we get :: looks to the others and laughs :: Orions. I've seen rabbits with better plans than that. Vef-Lai I don't think you've quite grasped that you are way out of your depth here :: demand :: Return us to our ship

Vef-Lai felt a burst of anger coarse through him. He simply cried out in a bellow, the Kobyar would recognise it as a warcry. An intent to harm.

Around him the soldiers and his adjutant response immediately.

Silveira/Sadar/Bergmen: Response

The shimmer of the containment field fell allowing them access.

Vef-Lai: Death to you all. Bring her to me.

The Grunden soldiers grabbed at the Bajoran, while several Kobyar moved towards the others as the small Bajoran was pulled from the containment field.

Vailani: :: to O’Connor :: If you want to live, help us!

The Kobyar warlord laughed maniacally as his hands went around her neck. The stupid girl tried to lift herself up and then he saw what she intended to do as her legs raised upwards and with some force struck him in the chest.

He stood his ground, and tightened his grip around her slender neck, her face paled and he laughed … he could feel the pressure on the muscle and bone in her neck as her complexion turned a shade of purple and she struggled to take a breath.

Silveira/Sadar/Bergmen/O’Connor: Response

He squeezed tightly, it was foolish in his desire and excitement to kill her he had become blind to all others. A mistake by someone much junior. When the platform beneath him began to move he stumbled backwards and his gripped on her neck loosened and he left her go.

The two Grunden soldiers that had held her arms, fell backwards too. The dazed Bajoran was freed from them.

Vailani: Response

Silveira/Sadar/Bergmen/O’Connor: Response

Vef-Lai: Nooooo!

It was the smuggler! He had betrayed them! As the platform moved, the Bajoran leapt to a different platform. He had lost track of his own men as the room revolved, platforms and walls shifted all around him.

He could see the colours of the Starfleet uniforms, Kobyar and Grunden with each shift.

He screamed in rage as he realised that he had underestimated the smuggler and the officers.

Vailani: Response

Silveira/Sadar/Bergmen/O’Connor: Response

Vef-Lai: Stop them!

He bellowed towards the platforms, his eye unable to lock on to any particular individual.

Vef-Lai: Starfleet!

((OOC: at this point Vef-Lai has been separated from the team))

He had underestimated them which meant they were probably on the surface … they would ruin everything. He needed to trigger the Bloodcurse now. He jumped from the platform he was on until he was on solid ground again.

Within the small living area of the smuggler he had left the transponder which would communicate with the planet to activate the Bloodcurse … he could select the location. As he tapped into the communication device and navigated to the Kobyar Capital, the most likely place the treacherous Oolwi would have gone. He hoped her last -

A dull thud indicated the Bloodcurse had been blocked. He scrambled angrily as he cursed out loud and begun a recalibration - he would have his vengeance on Starfleet.

((OOC: you are free to do as you will in this part but O'Connor has helped the team escape but outside of that it's up to you to have fun and add to the story with the visual of the moving platforms and dodging Grunden or Kobyar troops however you may want to do this and what you might want to do))
