Genkos smiled at the younger ensign across the table from him. It was clear that the ensign didn’t know a huge amount about the Artemis’ history, which was fair enough as he was a fairly new addition to the crew.
Adea: Have you ever heard about CloQ, the Q that seems to be obsessed with this crew?
Bergmen tore off another piece of pita bread and swiftly dipped it before taking a bite, allowing himself a moment to consider the question. Genkos himself took a sip of his sapphire wine.
Bergmen: Not about CloQ in particular, sir. But Q Continuum and Picard-Janeway encounters were mentioned during my diplomacy classes at OCS. Nothing much specific, though.
Genkos nodded as he listened and then laced his fingers together.
Adea: Ah, well, CloQ is another member of the Continuum, and this one seems obsessed with us, as well as their obscene collection of clocks and other timepieces. They seem to love making messes with the timestream, and involving us with those messes.
Ollie listened intently, nodding along while leaving his food untouched.
Bergmen: I assume the sickbay is often overcrowded with injured, given the vessel adventures, right? Sir. ::pause:: Is there anything else I should watch out for or be aware of?
Genkos raised an eyebrow at that - his sickbay was rarely “over”crowded. Sure it could get busy, but they had a relatively high turnover rate. But instead of pulling Bergmen up on that, he started to think about their previous encounters.
Adea: Well, there’s our Shintiverse counterparts - versions from us from another dimension, and they are really unpleasant.

Adea: Not to mention the Suliban - they don’t like us much either.
