Sharing a drink with Genkos, Vitor asked about Kali.
He cut his sentence sort but needed to finish it. So he shrugged and took a long sip of gin. He set down the glass and looked back at Genkos.

Silveira: And I was going to say to give me a call if she needed a Tactical Officer. But I reconsidered. Who wants one that panics when he gets scratched? Not my brightest moment.

Adea: Do you want to talk about it?

Vitor leaned back. He had this conversation with Nan, sharing his fears.
And then there was that. Nan herself and the feelings he had for her.
Vitor was still trying to figure them out.

Perhaps he could use a change of scenery.

Silveira: I don’t know… There’s been a lot going through my mind… And my heart… ::He tipped his head and gave Genkos an apologetic smile.:: You of all people know how overly emotional I am and how that usually clouds my judgment.

Genkos was unlucky enough to witness that first hand in the Resolution.
Genkos shook his head.

Adea: Vitor, that’s unfair. You’re not overly emotional - you’re simply emotional. And that’s no bad thing. Sure, sometimes you channel it in… ::he searched for the right term:: unproductive ways. And again, that’s okay. ::he paused:: Well, maybe the destruction of the Res wasn’t okay, but you understand my point.

Vitor nodded. That certainly wasn’t OK. The fourteen souls they lost there were a stern reminder of that. But slowly he had found some peace with them.
They would haunt him for as long as he lived, and he respectfully allowed them to.

But yes, he understood what Genkos meant.

Silveira: I think I do.

Adea: In my experience, you, well not just you, a lot of people really, spend so much time het up about their feelings that they don’t actually process the why or how of their current emotions. So tell me, what is it that you’re thinking so much about?

Vitor mused if he should tell Genkos. Why bother him? And he certainly couldn't be the one talking about the how and the why.
Vitor never processed emotions, he only felt them.

Wasn’t that his… Talent?

He took another long sip, finishing his gin. He raised the glass, signalling for another and put it down.

Silveira: You should know by now that thinking and feeling are almost apart in me. You really want to know? ::Vitor shrugged and leaned forward.:: I have a growing feeling over Nan. And I fumbled things with her. And hurt her and I am an idiot. She thinks I might be… Projecting my feelings. But… No… I don’t think I am.

Adea: Response

Vitor frowned, surprised. Didn’t Genkos realise he had always called Nan… As Nan.
Granted it was one of those silly abbreviations of his. Like Zie, Sher, or Sada.

And Jo… Well, there was only one Jo in his life

Silveira: Nan… Jovenan. I always called her Nan. Who were you thinking?

Adea: Response

Vitor rolled his eyes and shook his head. He picked up the newly served gin and took a long sip, before speaking again.

Silveira: OK, then with full names now. I have growing feelings for Jovenan, but she thinks I am projecting what I felt for Jovenan. She vehemently stated that. Even after I told her I can tell them apart. And they aren’t that much alike. I never had a chance to know Jovenan as I know Jovenan. I have proudly seen her become a magnificent officer. Strong, smart, positive and… Well anyway I messed it up when I replied to Jovenan she couldn’t ever replace Jovenan.

Adea: Response
