LTCmdr. Quentin Collins - Baby Blue Sedan

Quentin Collins felt crazy dumb as his arm was quickly going numb, but he was happy for the chance to connect to the new Science Officer. Though he wished he didn't have to look THIS dumb in order to do it. 

But Quentin was used to embarrassment and tried to soldier on as best he could. Rubbing feeling back into his shoulder, he crossed carefully toward the new Ensign.

Collins: Yes, yeah! I am so sorry. I am still not used to these limbs for some reason.

Jacin: ::astonished:: New limbs?  What happened? Oh sorry Sir. I tend to, err talk like a lot when I’m nervous. Ensign Jacin Ayemet reporting for duty. 

Jacin gave a traditional Bajoran greeting and then her best officious smile, which was, as far as where Quentin was standing, pretty great! Quentin returned it as best he could as the numbness in his arm was replaced by tingling. Which he was sure would be replaced further by a throb and dull ache here in a bit.

Collins: Quentin Collins, pleasure. I am usually...actually far worse at first impressions. I understand we are going to be working with one another? ::he tried to say sunnily, despite the dull throb in his shoulder.::

Jacin: Yes Sir, I hope I can prove some help to you. ::Looking at Quentin:: Are you okay?? Should I take you to med bay? Err you might need to tell me where it is.

Quentin scoffed slightly, but in good-natured warmth. She obviously wouldn't be apprised of his current avoidance of the Sickbay, but he appreciated the cosmic coincidence. 

He waved her away playfully, but worked his shoulder a bit just to make sure he didn't actually need it.

Collins: Oh, no, no! They see enough of me anyway. But let's talk about you! How long have you been off Bajor?

Jacin: RESPONSE

Collins: And what's your focus?

Jacin: RESPONSE

Collins: That's fascinating! Well, we are surely happy to have you. The Arrow is a good ship, with a good crew. It's only going to get better with you here.

Jacin: RESPONSE

Collins: And I am always around should you need anything. The rest of the Study Group are usually on differently shifts, but my door is always open. Plus I tend to wander.

Jacin: RESPONSE
