The sound of the security chief's
voice made him pause, and he raised an eyebrow while looking across the bay to one of his team. Tapping his badge, he wasted no time in answering.
V. Jones =/\= Go for Jones. =/\=
Vincent wasn't sure what he was expecting, but he figured it would be something. A status update, a
request for information, or even just to let him know everything was good. What he hadn't expected was orders.
Serinus: =/\= Please report to my desk asap.=/\=
Alright. Standing, he shrugged to the same teammate he'd looked at when his badge had first chirpped.
V. Jones =/\= On my way. =/\=
The line closed and he gestured to the shuttle nearby and the gear on standby.
V.Jones: Keep the engine running and everything powered up. We're just waiting for the other shoe to
drop.
The others nodded to him and started to move a bit, knowing that there would be more readiness needed
without the chief there. Content in what he was leaving, Vincent left the bay and headed towards the security offices.
((Security Suite, USS Arrow))
Stepping through the doors, Vincent made a path directly towards Serinus' desk. Coming to attention
in front of it, the warrant officer reported in quietly, but firmly. He had never been one for noise, but there was definitely something to the old saying of walking softly and carrying a big stick.
V. Jones: Chief Warrant Officer Vincent Jones reporting as ordered, sir.
Serinus: Response?
Settling a bit and letting his hands clasp behind his back, he allowed himself to look at the man behind
the desk rather than the bulkhead that happened to be straight ahead at eye level.
V. Jones: My team and I are prepped and ready for anything. What are we looking at?
Serinus: Response?
