((Private Patient Room Number 7, Medical Center, Mezzanine Level))
Jansen approached the door with his trademark calm in place along side the warm smile that was natural to his bedside manner.
Orrey: Lael it's about time you got in here.
Oh she bristled at that. This was going to be a fascinating meeting.
Orrey: Can't hide forever I have minions now and a decent relationship with station security. ::chuckling as he settled on the stool in the room:: So what does bring you in?
Rosek-Skyfire: ::smiles:: Primarily a check-up. That last mission left me with some lingering pains. I’m not sure if they’re from the pregnancy or something more specific.
Orrey: ::nodding his head and checking over the chart:: Could be simple stress reactions. We can check very quickly.
Jansen stood up to start his examination and saw her “”casually”” running her hand there her hair so he made a flair out of shaking his own left hand and rubbing his nose to show off his own marital jewelry before turning on the biobed over her head. It was silly in a way but he could understand the uniqueness of the situation. So he maintained his normal smile and pulled out the medical scanner from his tricorder.
Orrey What hurts specifically?
Rosek-Skyfire: Mostly my lower back. Normally, my pain management program keeps that to a minimum. But I’ve had to make some changes since I found out I was pregnant with my twins. ::grimaces:: The physical changes from the pregnancy have put extra stress on some areas. It’s also causing some flare-ups with my knees. It’s all manageable, but that doesn’t mean it’s not distracting and a touch annoying.
Orrey: How is the surgical repair holding up?
Rosek-Skyfire: Response?
Jansen glanced up at the biobed readings and then moved the handheld wand further down to check on the babies.
Orrey: and the little ones? How are they handling the new excitement?
Rosek-Skyfire: Response?
Again he looked directly from his tricorder to the biobed readout and back before checking her knees with a nod and closing the tricorder up. He was at least polite enough to hold out a hand to help her sit back up.
Orrey: Good news, bad news.
Rosek-Skyfire: Response?
