((Amity Station, Talaxi Palms Fitness Center))

Seleya: Of course, I could think of no better way to get to know each other.. Entirely.

Robin had been a hard person to read so far. She couldn’t tell if she was being nice or returning the vague flirts. Seleya may have to make it more obvious, but the steam room would be the perfect place to do it.

Hopper: Sounds good. Do you know your way there?

Seleya: I am afraid I will have to follow you. I am still learning my way around the station and its facilities.

Seleya motioned Robin to lead before following behind the first officer.

Hopper: All good. This station’s got a lot to take in – but the longer you stay, the more it starts to feel small and familiar… And really, you can’t go wrong in the fitness center anyways. Any way you go takes you where you’re trying to get, eventually.

Hopper: Around the corner here is the entrance to the steam rooms and the sauna. I try to slip in here after a workout to stay loose, but sometimes I come just for the heat honestly. After a long day? Really helps get the kinks out.

Seleya: I am assuming there will be lockers nearby we could disrobe. You don’t mind me in the nude, do you?

Hopper: ::Blushing::  Oh. No, of course. That’s actually not that uncommon. There are quite a few places where you’d be considered crazy for going into a sauna or steam room wearing clothes, actually…

Hopper: But I mean, yes, there are lockers and also yes clothing is optional. This fitness center is for adults only, so… go wild!

Seleya tilted her head, she had no idea what adults only had anything about clothing being optional. Then again during her time on Earth she did notice some humans being very particular about nudity not being appropriate for children. From what she understood of some human cultures they thought it could be taken as a sexual thing, so they needed to protect the children. Then again cucumbers could be taken as sexual too, but Seleya never saw a human parent protecting their child from a cucumber, as last not as far as Seleya saw. Just an odd standard Seleya couldn’t understand.

Seleya: I’ve learned some people can be rather.. Conservative with clothing, or rather the lack thereof. Even in places where it may not make sense. I try to at least be understanding.. sometimes.

Hopper: Hah. Well, you know, you are on a station that still leans into its Betazoid heritage, despite her current CO’s somewhat ‘old fashioned’ Earth ideals – and even he’s one quarter Betazoid. You should feel comfortable in your skin…

Seleya took one of the lockers and began stripping herself of her work-out clothes. Seleya was not ashamed of her body. Her light blue skin was well toned by her consistent workouts, with spots of albino vitiligo dotting her body like her face. Seleya’s tattoo’s fully covered her back, ran up her shoulders and down her arms and up to her neck and her face. Connecting as one giant tattoo.

Hopper: …and I can’t see why you wouldn’t be.

Seleya: Glad to see you are not disappointed.

Hopper: Right, well, uhh, shall we?

Seleya let out an amused hum as she once again followed the commander into the steam room. She thought the sight of the flustered commander was rather adorable.

Hopper: Looks like we’ve got the room to ourselves – maybe you can tell me about some of your experiences from the Valkyrie, or the Chin'toka?  ::Flustered chuckle::  My security clearance is fairly high…

Seleya: Unfortunately, classified information is still ‘need to know’ so I can’t talk about most of my mission. There are two I am allowed to talk about though, but first contacts, one with a pre-warp civilization that was about to achieve warp capable status, and one on the Valkyrie in the Par’tha expanse with a strange planet-state. But I was Tac-Sec prior to becoming an Intelligence officer, so I did security, and strategic planning. The first mission I can discuss, our first contact with the pre-warp was very tumultuous. Long ago in their past they had been invaded by a group of Vulcans who had left after the Vulcan Sundering. The Vulcans were tyrants before the natives overthrew the vulcans and seemed to commit genocide on them.

Hopper: Huh? What? Sorry– Yes, I think I know what you’re talking about, but maybe you could show me more? I mean, tell me more.

Seleya let out another amused hum as she looked over. She couldn’t tell if the Commander’s thoughts were wandering because of Seleya, or for other reasons.

Seleya: Well, they had been slowly reverse engineering the technology over the years, but they were very wary of our arrival. Given how the old Vulcans conquered them, I think they were worried we would do the same. Then a group of extremists took one of our away team hostage. I was a part of the team sent to rescue them until a friendly fire incident sent me to the ship’s Medbay.

Hopper: Sounds like you get around, um, the galaxy quite a bit… Is there anyone waiting for you back in the Alpha Quadrant?

Seleya: Not really, no. I don’t do relationships. I prefer non-committal one time fun. It’s easier when Starfleet has you travelling all over the galaxy.

Hopper: Response

Seleya: Well, being completely honest, I am hoping to have some of that non-committal fun with you, prior to leaving the station.

Hopper: Response

Seleya: Not in the steam room of course, somewhere more private and appropriate. That is, if you are interested of course.

Hopper: Response
