Satisfied with how Aurelio liked her gift, Molly was then excited to see the rest of the gifts Aurelio had gotten.
Molly: What’s in the last one?
Aurelio: That’s the one Taelon brought.
Aurelio inspected its weight before opening. Molly nodded. The little moment of potential guessing was always fun. Until you got to the unwrapping.
Inside was the model of a ship. Molly leaned in to have a better look, marvelling at how detailed it was.
Aurelio: Oh, a D’kyr! Thank you!
Taelon: It can, um, fly…the controller should be in there. You can set it to hover and follow you, um, and that sort of….well, that sort of thing.
Molly: It can fly?
She looked over it again, fascinated and just barely resisting the urge to yank it out of Aurelio's hands to take an even closer look.
Ukinix: Response
Aurelio: I’m absolutely going to need more shelves. I can’t make it float all the time.
Taelon, naturally, answered with:
Taelon: You could. The battery should have - well, I mean, you should only need to charge it on occasion.
It was certainly much better than what she had got for Aurelio. But perhaps that was just because of the novelty she herself was experiencing.
Aurelio: Thank you all very much. Now you can help me with dessert!
Molly leapt to her feet.
Molly: Yay! Cake!
Taelon: Happy birthday, Aurelio.
Cyri: Happy Birthday! Quch’qoS!
