Jakarn: I would say my younger self would not have believed a place like the Federation existed, and if I’m correct on my timing, he’d be right. It was founded, what, some 242 years ago?

Jakarn: By your timeline, I was born in 1880 - year 10,836 of the Flowering Era, by ours. An exciting time for Earth, from my understanding of your history.
Aitas: According to Federation history, it always seems to be an exciting time on Earth.
Jakarn chuckled at that. Earth had a way of making itself seem a very, very important planet - humans spread across the Federation and populated much of it, to the point it felt difficult to escape their influence at times.
Hopper: Response
Aitas: I wouldn’t object to a bit less excitement myself, but we’ll see how well that works out.
Jakarn: I wouldn’t bet on it, if I was you.

Aitas: I’ll see about getting some good tequila in, though I hope we can do this again before it shows up. ::to Robin:: When would be a good time for you?

Jakarn took that as her oh-so-polite queue to wrap things up, so he finished his drink, setting the glass aside with a delicate clink.

Jakarn: And I shall see if there’s any of the good stuff from the Delta still around. Meryid’s Milk was an old favorite…
