((Frontier Day Memorial Assembly, Champ de Mars Park, Paris, Earth -- Before everyone returned to the Delta Quadrant))
With the speeches by Federation President Anton Chekov and the surviving admiralty finished, the remaining crews assembled divided up into their individual ribbons and memorial ceremonies. Captain Roshanara Rahman, although left with only half a ship in orbit, was still responsible for the Amity Outpost orphans along with the guests from Denali, Artemis, and Constitution.
She looked out at the assembled line of officers and crew and took in a deep breath.
Rahman: As I look out across this field and see the many other crews assembled, I am comforted in the wake of this tragedy that we were not alone in surviving and in demonstrating the tenacity of those who resist.
The Kriosian began walking down the line, regarding each face.
Rahman: You all have faced the greatest threat the Federation has ever witnessed since the Dominion War. I am old enough to have remembered the bitter end of that conflict, but for many of you, this will truly be the mark of a generation, leaving Starfleet and the Federation forever changed. I know there are many questions to be asked and answered in the coming months and years... we have not yet even buried all our dead or taken the time to mourn. But in moments of tragedy, we must always remember to look to those who brought light into our darkest hour. Those who fought valiantly and those who rescued and saved lives. It is those actions that also mark a generation, and by that measure then, I have no doubt that Starfleet and the Federation's best days lie ahead.
She stopped and turned to face the assembly.
Rahman: Given the long list of recipients, we will be doing things a little differently today. I will read off those being recognized and your records have been updated. Please hold any comments or applause until the end of each citation.
She took out her PADD and began.
Rahman: The Purple Heart is awarded to those individuals who sustain injury in the line of duty. The following officers and individuals are so recognized: John Carter, Alora DeVeau, Niev Galanis, Robin Hopper, Rebecca Iko, Kaito Moore, Roshanara Rahman, Sam Richards, Nathan Richards, Ikaia Wong, Indrid Yirah, and Torvi Ylvor.
After a brief pause for applause, she continued.
Rahman: The Prisoner of War Ribbon has been authorized for both those who were assimilated by the Borg as well as those who were taken hostage. These officers and individuals are thus recognized: Alora DeVeau, Niev Galanis, Kaito Moore, Roshanara Rahman, Samantha Richards, Torvi Ylvor, and Indrid Yirah.

The captain then walked back down the line to stand near three individuals in the assembly.
Rahman: Next, we saw even during the chaos of that day, the use of science and medical technology to counteract the Borg's assimilation techniques. For their efforts, the following officers are recognized with the Medical Science Ribbon. Ikaia Wong, Gila Sadar, and Gnai.
She looked over and nodded with a slight smile before continuing.
Rahman: For their heroic actions facing off against an enemy of the Federation--a changeling--and resolving it without violence in the finest traditions of Starfleet's ideals of compassion and understanding, I am pleased to recognize John Carter and Indrid Yirah with the Silver Star.
Rahman: For their decisive leadership shown that day, I am pleased to recognize the following officers with the Leadership Excellence Ribbon: Jansen Orrey, Nathan Richards, and Ikaia Wong.
Roshanara then looked over at the Klingon PA-turned-starship commander.
Rahman: Furthermore, it is my honor to recognize Lieutenant Ikaia Wong with the Legion of Merit for his actions as acting captain of the USS Kitty Hawk saucer section. Likewise, Wil Ukinix is recognized for his actions taking command after the changeling infiltrator was discovered.
She then walked back down the line to stand near several of the junior officers.
Rahman: For their gallant actions during the events of Frontier Day, the following officers are hereby recognized with the Good Conduct Ribbon: Harrison Blackwood, Kaito Moore, Jansen Orrey, and Torvi Ylvor.
Roshanara then looked over for Hannibal's face in the crowd.
Rahman: And for saving my life, the Silver Lifesaving Ribbon is hereby presented to Hannibal Parker. For saving the life of Rebecca Iko, it is also presented to Ikaia Wong.
The captain then looked at both Wong and then Parker for a moment.
Rahman: Mister Parker, Mister Wong, through your actions and that of your bridge crew, you helped prevent massive death and devastation to Luna. You both along with Gila Sadar, Gnai, and Rebecca Iko are hereby presented with the UFP Medal of Freedom for your defense of a Federation member world.
Roshanara then walked back out to the front of the assembly, standing in the center.
Rahman: The following officers are hereby recognized with the Captain's Commendation for serving temporarily under my command: Alora DeVeau of Denali Station, Gila Sadar and Gnai of USS Artemis, and Indrid Yirah of USS Constitution.
Rahman: And finally, for your collective actions that day, all here assembled are presented the Galactic War with the Borg Service Medal along with the newly created Frontier Day Ribbon. Given your extensive actions, those on the crew of Amity Outpost and Artemis are further recognized with two bronze stars of the Frontier Day Ribbon. Congratulations and thank you everyone!
