((Counseling Care Center, Medical Center, Mezzanine Level))
Lael was long overdue for her regular counseling session and had actually been looking forward to it. She’d come a long way over the years and had gained a new appreciation for the benefits of counseling. While she still struggled at times with going too deep, she’d learned to be a little more vulnerable.
Of course, she balanced that to ensure she didn’t come across as overly depressed, even if she was functionally depressed. She’d found ways to cope that didn’t include medication, like her regular meditations and studying her Bible. The few minutes in the morning and before bed grounded her in a way nothing else could. Whenever she felt herself growing anxious, she indulged in a gratitude session where she listed all the things she was grateful for.
She entered and approached what looked to be a receptionist.
Rosek-Skyfire: :::smiles:: Hi. I’m checking in for an appointment.
Receptionist: Response
Rosek-Skyfire: ::pauses:: I asked for the first available and can’t remember the name.
Receptionist: Response
Rosek-Skyfire: ::nods:: Thank you.
She took a seat as the receptionist took care of what they needed to.

She rose, smiling in greeting.
Rosek-Skyfire: ::offers her hand:: Nice to see you again.
