Wong: Wow. I think…. I think this is a type of tricorder.

Iko: What?

Ikaia finally put on the visor in full. He looked down at his hands. He could see the bones. And then the veins surrounding them. He looked up at Iko and Orrey and saw their life signs. It was as if he could see a whole other world.

Wong: This is amazing…. I can literally see your life signs with this. ::Holding up one of his hands to look at it again:: It’s almost like having xray vision. It’s…. Incredible.

To him, this felt like an interesting next step in medical tricorders. Although, he was sure he was only just scratching the surface.

Orrey: Response

Iko: Okay, what can it tell—

Interlink: LIEUTENANT WONG, IKAIA. STARFLEET SERIAL HI-198-155 SECURITY CLEARANCE BETA-ONE. STARFLEET DATA ACCESS LEVEL THREE.

The voice had come directly from the wrist-cuff.

Ikaia pushed the visor up into his hair. His bangs poked out from under it. He looked at everyone for a moment. An expression of concern crossed his features.

Iko: —us…

Wong: Now that is a lot of red flags….

As in how did it know his name and rank? Why did it need to announce it? What was the purpose behind it? Suddenly, this went from incredible to incredibly sinister.

Orrey: Response 

Iko: What's happening with your tricorder bracelet thing? Why did it single you out?

Wong: Pretty sure the reason is because I’m wearing it.

He jiggled at the cuff (Cuffcorder?) again. It was still not budging.

Orrey: Response

Iko picked up one of the PADDs. Her brows furrowed as if she had been dealt a bad hand at poker. That was Ikaia’s clue to look at Honkanen’s PADD. Sure enough, the screen had changed. From a regular LCARs layout to something in a bright blue. The words “establishing interlink” crossed the screen. Was he being connected to something?

Iko: …Is this the Indy's systems?

Oh no. Oh absolutely no. He did NOT just connect to the Indy, did he? He wasn’t interested in being one with the ship!

Iko: All the Indy's systems?

Wong: I’m going to raise those red flags to a bloody sea of red flags!

Orrey: Response 

Iko: Is this why Mabel's notes moved to paper?

Wong: I think that’s a good solid guess!

Orrey: Response

Ikaia picked up Honkanen’s PADD again and began to go through it.

Wong: We need something we can work with. Because I’m not liking where this is going.

Iko/Orrey: Response.

Wong: Iko, is there anything in those papers you picked up? Maybe not all of it is a garbled mess. Maybe we just need to put them together.

Iko/Orrey: Response.

Ikaia looked up from his PADD.

Wong: If this interlink thing is too dangerous that she resorted to using paper, somewhere on at least one of them, there’s going to be a clue that we can use.

Iko/Orrey: Response.
