Aitas: Ah. I think I see what happened.
Nevark: Were you expecting something else?
Layla noticed the frown, it was clear now that Aitas had thought she would read up about her in detail first. It wasn’t the first time someone thought that and she was sure it wasn’t going to be the last.
Aitas: There should have been a couple of required notes on my file. Mostly clearance related matters, but, ::a wave of her hand:: Given all the system issues I shouldn’t be too shocked they were missing. You have my apologies for the misunderstanding.
Layla shook her head.
Nevark: You have nothing to apologise for. I choose to go down this route and others don’t. I just don’t want to assume I know what you want to talk about based on any notes.
Aitas: Perhaps we should start over? I’ll explain in more detail, this time.
Layla saw the expression relax and she smiled as she gestured towards Aitas.
Nevark: Please go ahead. The floor is yours I think is the expression.
Aitas: I wasn’t anything more than bruised during the storm, but I had to telepathically push some entity out of a friend who’d nearly died the previous time we saw such a storm. He tends to wind up injured or missing quite a lot.
Layla let her brow crease slightly and nodded. She decided to hold off on the physical telepathy element and focus on the personal one first.
Nevark: Tends to wind up injured or missing? Is that something you have witnessed for them a lot?
Aitas: Response
Navark: I see.
She trailed off waiting for what other information Aitas would offer up.
Aitas: Response
Layla lent forward slightly.
Nevark: I can imagine having grown up and seen a lot of that in your life including with this friend it feels normal even with the other emotions that brings to the surface for you.
Aitas: Response
