CPO Ilid Zakrem: Preparing for the worst

Ilid was on a mission this morning. The had only arrived back at Amity from Zumaris the night before and he was not happy with how the end stages of the mission went. That was on him though. He knew to be prepared and not caught undressed.
It was for that reason his equipment belt was wrapped around his shoulder and he was carrying a deep blue duranium case into the newt hub of Amity's security services. He stepped through the doors and reminded himself he should have brought the dictionary with him.
Zakrem: Lieutenant. Good to see you this morning. Always a good sign when security never sleeps.
Moore: Response?
Zakrem: ::lifting the case up to the counter:: We have business. While I appreciate the loan of your weapon on world. I have some of my own to get registered for use.
Moore: Response?
Ilid laid the case down, thumbed across the biolock and undid the latches with a practiced ease. He opened the case while turning it around to face Moore. Inside the case were a few of the relics responsible for getting him through two hundred and forty-nine years.
The bottom of the case was taken up by the customized Type 32a. The body of the weapon was the same deep blue as the case and the thumbhole stock was gone. He had the main body of the stock and handle wrapped in leather but it was unmistakable with the scope and bipod attached. Above the rifle were the two hand phasers, his original Type 2, with the Type 1 in place on the top, and a modified Aquilia type. Both of which supported the same leather grip, the Aquilia lacked its standard hand guard and both were painted in what combat engineers had called cherry red.
In between the two sidearms were a row of Starfleet deltas. From the earliest patch he had worn when they were still just fabric or pins to all the combades since then.
Zakrem: So where do we start?
