Doctor Jansen Orrey: This little (green) piggy

Jansen glanced from the medical journal on the PADD he was reading to the message alert on his worktop before the office doors swished open and D’Crya half stumbled have ran into the room.

 

Varati: Good morning, Doctor Orrey! Sorry, I’m a little late…

 

Orrey: ::tilting his head with a bemused smile:: I think we can wave a little tardiness this one time. 

He waved at the chair across his desk.

Orrey: Have a seat. So how much value did you get out of the last mission?

 

He wasn’t entirely sure what had prompted the consult instead of an appointment but he would root around until he found it.

 

Varati: My values? Well... well, I abstained from chocolate for the entire last mission! And otherwise, I've switched to eating a lot more fresh, well, fruit. All that coffee and all those escallops from the cafeteria really aren't necessary.

 

Orrey: Not necessary doesn’t mean they aren’t a good little escape every so often. Limit doesn’t mean Eliminate after all.

 

Varati: But actually, I'm here for something completely different...

 

Jansen motioned his hand along and stood up as she started to struggle with her boot.

 

Varati: I'm not sure exactly which floor panel on the bridge of the Indy I kicked this time... and with the strange leather sandals on Uwe II and all the stress, I didn't even notice. But when I wore my new heels to lunch at the tea house yesterday, my big toe suddenly started to hurt. And it's swollen too. Maybe I kicked too hard this time?!

  

Orrey: ::letting out a bit of a whistle::  Well I can tell you right now, heels are out.

Varati: Response?

Orrey: ::Reaching for his tricorder on his desk:: Lets take a look. Prop it up on that other chair there.

Jansen removed the scanning wand from the top of the tricorder and started looking over her foot.

Orrey: So you think you kicked some deck plating?

Varati: Response?
