[ACT 2] Beq Ushahl -- Toy with their honour

After their honourable victory against the tiny colony starfleet had discarded on Imza-4521-L or whatever stupid name they had given it, Ushahl and her crew had been eager for more combat. The integration of the interlink system into the Tamboh Pach’s computer had been completed by one of the researches they had taken during their raid, and now it was finally time to show the federation just how dishonourable they were by turning their own ship against them.
She was excited! The interlink system could be a powerful weapon, and thus far it had proved masterfully effective, with the little “Independence” ship scurrying away with its tail between its legs. Cowards. Just like the rest of the Federation, to afraid to go into battle, too focused on peace and friendship and avoiding conflict. The Empire had been cowardly to even sign a treaty with the Federation. The only reason such a treaty had even been created was because the Federation had swooped in when the Empire was temporarily dishonoured and vulnerable after the destruction of Praxis.
It was finally time to bring the Federation’s dishonour to light. To show the Empire, or at the very least, ghevchoq voqwI’, which they would be visiting soon after this, that all the Federation was doing was weakening the Klingon Empire and it’s warriors with its influence. That the Empire had lost its fire, that it was letting its blades rust, and had forgotten the teachings of Kahless. The greatest dishonour. But dishonour she hoped this and future battles would restore, which in turn, would conveniently restore her family’s.
Ushahl slammed her fist on the console enthusiastically.
Ushahl: Come around again!
Ghortok: Response
Ushaul: No! This needs to be an honourable battle!
There was a delicate balance once needed. Honour was achieved through victory, regardless of how it was acquired, but there was no honour in fighting an enemy who wasn’t given a chance to fight back. That wasn’t a battle, just a killing, and that had no victory because there was no foe.
Ushaul sat back down in her captain's chair, and rested her chin in her hand, barely able to resist pounding back up onto her feet.
Ushahl: I want to see what they do…
Ghortok: Response
Something was coming out over general communications.
Ukinix: =/\= This is Commander Wil Ukinix, Commanding Officer of the USS Independence-B. We’re Starfleet, in case there’s any confusion. We mean you no harm, we’d just like to talk. =/\=
She practically bounded out of her seat to respond.
Ushahl: =/\= HA! All you Starfleets know how to do is talk. =/\=
She gave Ghortok a nod—and a toothy smile.
Ushahl: Scare those PetaQs again.
They’d had their chance to run, to recover. It was time to bombard them with their own weapon once again, courtesy of the young Ghortok.
Ghortok: Response
There were few things more dishonourable than dying by a ship you have no control over. Battling something that is so central to your situation that you forget about the enemy outside attacking. It was just the kind of defeat the Federation deserved.
The Independence scurried off behind one of the moons. Ushahl watched their ship travel across the viewscreen and laughed a rambunctious, hearty laugh.
Ushahl: HA HA! Cowards! Recloak and follow them. But don’t get too close. We’re still teasing.
She came up right behind the younger Klingon’s console, peering at just what the enemy did—or moreso didn’t—have in store.
Ghortok: Response
Ushahl paced back and forth on her bridge, trying to withhold part of her fervour. No use in a brash attack if it was going to be dishonourable. She needed to plan this carefully.
Ushahl: Can the interlink play with their sensor readouts? Subtly?
Ghortok: Response
Ushahl: Toy with the Independence. Puzzle them. make them fearful and confused and drop their guard. Then we will reveal our face once again.
