((Medical Center - Amity Outpost))
The sterile scent of the medical center hit Eliana the moment the doors swung open. The bright lights, the soft hums of the medical equipment, and the biomonitors' somewhat eerie beep filled the air with clinical calm.
She stepped in, pausing for a moment in the reception area. She looked down at her feet and then to her side, where her hand had been tapping constantly since she walked in.
Miller: oO Right, just a quick stop, in and out in a jiffy. Oo
Starfleet protocol required all members to have their immunization updates checked every few months. She appreciated all the science that prevented her from getting some alien sickness(s) over the years, but she did not like how science got into her body.
Miller: Hello, Lieutenant Eliana Miller, HCO. Here for my scheduled immunizations.
Receptionist: Welcome, Lieutenant Miller. Looking at the console, you are in room 5. Go down the hallway and take the first left.
Miller: Thank you.
As the receptionist stated, Eliana walked down the hallway. She was still tapping her hand on her side. Every time she walked into a medical center, she seemed to slow down to a complete crawl. She took the first left, as stated, and walked down the hallway until she saw Room 5.
She paused momentarily and entered the room, closing the door behind her. There were medical instruments and other gadgets in the room. She sat down on the bio-bed.
Wong/Orrey: Response
Miller: Good day both, here for those immunization shots; please tell me they are administered by hypo-spray and not that::pointing to needle:: thing.
She tried to remember what made her hate needles, but she never wanted to be poked by them.
Wong/Orrey: Response
Miller: Oh, I see. Would you happen to have something to calm me down? I am nervous about needles.
Wong/Orrey: Response
