((Amity Station, Paxau District, in front of Bixiban’s Family Style Kitchen, about an hour later))
For her outfit Seleya decided to go with her usual style. A tight fitting short sleeve completely sheer top to show off her body and tattoos, a simple black bra underneath. She decided to forgo the jacket to avoid dressing up too much. And then leather pants with sheer lining down the sides, and black ankle boots with a small wedge heel.
She was standing in front of the restaurant in her usual parade rest until she spotted Varati approaching, she relaxed and turned to her/them ((if there are others)).
Seleya: Hello again.
Varati: ::smiles:: Hi! There you are already! I hope I'm not too late; one of my easiest tasks. ::chuckles:: Interesting tattoos I can see there... clan emblems or completely individual?
Seleya: I did not wait long. And thank you, it’s an ancient Kazleti practice, it’s called Ruraturve. Ancient warriors would tattoo themselves so if they fell in battle people could identify them. There is importance on the location and the symbols, which is done in an ancient written language called Uhui, which uses a lot of complex symbology instead of letters. But it’s all one continuous tattoo that gets added onto the longer I live.
Varati: I haven't been able to reach anyone else in that short time, but let's see what the evening brings. Did you reserve a table? We don't want to end up at the food stalls in the merchant district... that happened to me once with Niev and Aitas.
Seleya: I did reserve a table, so we should have a seat. But I don’t mind spending time with you alone.
Varati: Well, if no one else is coming, we'll go in now before the seats get given away. I'm curious to see what they offer and how it tastes. I assume it's mostly vegetarian? But first I need something to drink; I'm incredibly thirsty!
Seleya: Of course, I am looking forward to sharing a meal with you.
Seleya turned to the door, letting it hissed, open. Seleya stuck her arm against the frame with the panels slid into the wall as if she was holding the door open for the Varati. Entirely unnecessary, but she was hoping the gesture would count for a bit as she gave the Orion a brief smile.
Varati: Response
Once inside, Seleya saw that Varati wasn’t kidding about needing a reservation, this place was packed. There were groups waiting in a seating area off to the side for a table, but Seleya made her way to the host stand.
Talaxian hostess: Hello! Welcome to Bixiban’s! We are so happy to have you join us. Did you have a reservation?
Seleya: Yes, under Seleya of Khanda.
Talaxian hostess: I have it right here, just follow me.
Seleya: Shall we, D’Cyra of Varati?
Seleya turned to Varati, offering her arm to Orion, should she wish to take it.
Varati: Response
As they followed the hostess into the restaurant Seleya noticed the Talaxian did not do typical tables of two, four, or more. Each table was large enough to seat groups of eight to twelve, and they seemed to gather strangers together to share one table. As they walked, Seleya leaned over, talking softly to Varati as she spoke.
Seleya: I have to say you are looking rather beautiful. I love the dress, I feel as if I should have been more formal.
Varati: Response
