Aitas had gotten what seemed to be very thin fried batter wrapped around a set of edible flowers filled with just a hint of nectar. A pair of leaves tied the whole concoction in place.
It reminded her a bit of a similar confection she’d tried on Vulcan, though that had used a stiffer pastry and forgone the leaves. Probably why the proprietor had suggested the flavor to her. And why they’d set up their stand up near the Sarek stop on for the train, where they’d be in close proximity to both the Rixx and ShiKahr Districts.
The food was a rather delicate thing; small enough that she was already contemplating trying one of the other flavors.They (unsurprisingly) also had several uttaberry variants.
There had been an available bed by the time she’d made it back to Talaxi Palms, and between sleep and medical visits the initial set of messages between her and two science ensigns had been rather delayed.
As she was both supposed to be taking some time to rest and the room that held her bed might have been more accurately defined as a closet, she had left one final message for said ensigns and then wandered off to explore the areas closest to the Sarek stop.
She’d left Fureri waiting at the stop itself to redirect both Niev and D’Cyra should they desire to join her. The bot at least was quite recognizable.
Thus, it was no surprise for her to see the pair of them (and Fureri) incoming. She looked over at the both of them and smiled, carefully balancing her food so that the flowers didn’t slide out of the half-eaten end.
Aitas: Ah, there you are. It’s not quite the beach, but I wasn’t sure if you’d end up joining me, so I thought I’d begin with a bit of exploring on my own.

She certainly wouldn't have faulted them for just sleeping half the day away after that fight with the Trenvonn drones.

Aitas motioned at the habitat ring with her unoccupied hand.
Aitas: Perhaps not the ShiKahr District. I can’t say that I would describe the higher gravity as ‘restful’.
It wasn’t generally a strain for her, but she had both the benefits of Vulcan physiology and previous experience in dealing with the relevant gravity and temperature.
