 Orrey: oO good on you being first. Oo Ikaia how are you doing this morning.

Wong: I’m doing fine. Just my usual level of busy. 

Jansen could feel for the young officer. His own medical rotation had been intense, he couldn't imagine having to balance the training and a standard duty rotation but that was part of what had taken so long.

Wong: Big meeting?

Orrey: Don't think it will take long today. You and I both have full clinic rotations, I have an invite for you after work too if you don't mind some overtime and practice.

Wong: Colour me intrigued! What does that entail? 

Orrey: Well I've got a holoprogram I use quite regularly. I want to get you in and test you on it. 

Wong: Ah. So a pop quiz, huh? I’ll have you know, I have been keeping up with my studies.

T’Amor, the rest of the morning clinic staff, and the heads of the other departments filed into the room spreading around the table. Jansen waved Ikaia into the seat to his left and rubbed his hands together glancing down at the PADD. 

Orrey: Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen. I will keep this as short and sweet as possible we have some fun things on our schedule. Including, Ikaia and I will be acting as Medical Officers on an away mission with the school children a little later this week. I expect my Medical Center to still be standing when I get back. While we are away Caji will be acting in my stead.

Caji: We will try to keep from burning it down. ::glancing at the PADD:: Can we jump down a few spaces on your list?

Orrey: ::nodding:: You have a couple of procedures this afternoon what about them?

Caji: ::pointing across the table at Wong:: I want the assistant to be my assistant when I head in there.

Wong: What am I doing?

Caji: Four surgeries this afternoon. And since we will be rotating between the operating suites we are the team on call in case of delivery.

Truthfully, Ikaia didn’t know Caji that well. This would be a better chance to get to know them better.

Wong: I can be an extra pair of hands. As long as you’re up for a Brew Continuum run afterwards.

Caji: You'll need more than coffee for dinner but it's a great start.

With a smile, Ikaia replied.

Wong: Remember, Caji, I used to run this department before I went into the transfer program.  

Caji: Oh I know. Until Doctor Orrey decided to regrow his pips I would have been taking over your training.

Orrey: Alright so Ikaia will be with you all afternoon, I can take the couple of afternoon clinic slots he has got...next big thing on my list is I got a message from Command we will be getting a visit from Mortuary Affairs...::scanning down and back up the PADD before making air quotes with his fingers:: "Soon". To make sure we can handle things being this far from home. 

Wong: Response?

Orrey: Especially after Frontier Day they are going around everywhere I wager.

Wong: Response?

Orrey: Which means they will want to see the morgue, and how we coordinate with station Ops and ship Ops to send our folks back home. We may schedule some mock trials with our gold shouldered brothers to double check everyone is sending the right forms..::looking thoughtful::..I wonder if C'lem could help.

Wong: Response?
