Molly Williams -- Presents for the birthday people

((Outside Aitas's Quarters, Shi'kahr District, Amity Outpost))
Molly looked up at the man next to her as she rang the doorbell. From what she'd heard, rumours and talk about whether the station's commanding officer was going to receive a promotion soon, given his almost one year of service after Rivi returned to Betazed, had been circling around some of the outpost's gossip train. As far as Molly could tell though, he still only had three pips on his collar.

Molly: ::nods:: Commander.
First Secretary Aitas opened the door before the conversation between Molly and the commander could properly begin.
Aitas: Please, come in, and thank you for coming. There are drinks if you’d like something. The uttaberry juice only just showed up yesterday.
Molly smiled, walking inside and clutching the gift she had brought for Aurelio's birthday firmly in front of her.
Cyri moved behind Taelon just slightly, looking at the new guests from around him. She held her juice in both hands, and gestured with it.
Cyri: The juice is good. Also, hi.
Molly waved at the girl who had recommended juice, and the very tall (especially for Molly, who had not yet reached her adult height) Lieutenant Commander she stood behind.

Taelon: Hello, Commander. I didn’t - um, I didn’t realize you were coming. ::He looked down to Molly; he’d not met her before.:: And, um, you are…?
Molly: Molly Williams. My mum works in engineering.

Taelon smiled, though his natural nervousness still showed.
Taelon: It’s nice to meet you, Molly. I’m, um, Taelon. And this is my daughter, Cyri.
Cyri: Hello.
Molly: It is nice to meet you!

Molly: You must have come to Amity recently. Five months ago we had a trip to Idrustix. Madeline and Kadain Skyfire joined us too. ::to Aurelio:: were they invited?

Molly smiled.
Molly: It's okay, I was just curious!

The little girl almost went to fetch herself a glass of juice, before remembering the wrapped gift that was still in her hand. She thrust it out in front of her, towards Aurelio.
Molly: This is for you.
It was no secret that Aurelio liked beaches. So Molly (with the help of her mother who had convinced the girl to get her friend a birthday present in the first place) had opted for something along that theme. Namely: a towel with a hood attached in the middle that you could wear more like this thing called a “poncho”. Molly was unsure of its true practicality, but she hoped that Aurelio would like both it and the design on the fabric.
