They’d said it would take a week for her concussion to fully heal. Every day, she went to the medical bay, got an evaluation and another dose of medicine, and went back to doing… Well, not much. She’d taken a tour. She’d tried to help with engineering, and she’d been allowed to, for a bit, until she tried to hang off the ceiling like it was monkey bars and been banned from assisting for the rest of her recovery, because turns out ‘hanging from the ceiling with a concussion’ wasn’t a good idea, even if she’d been totally safe and it was to fix something real quick. Which left her with not much to do other than wander… and of course report to invitations from the Commander.. 

 

Ukinix: ::Cheekily:: That’s an order.

 

--before heading over to greet Saelis.

 

Ukinix: ::cheerily, offering hand:: Finally we get to meet! Ensign Bryn, welcome to Amity Outpost. I’m Commander Ukinix. Wil. Hungry?

She stood at her best attention, smiling, but dropped it just a bit when he offered her a hand.

 

Bryn: Commander. I’ve heard a lot about you. ::mostly that he’d really gotten on Ysal’s bad side.:: Nice t’ meet you. ::to hopper:: And, I’m sorry, We might’ve met by now, but everything’s a little fuzzy… What did you say your name was? 

 

Hopper: Response

 

Bryn: Oh! Well it’s nice to meet you too. And commander, I’m so hungry.

 

Wil made his way back the barbeque to check on the sausages.

 

Ukinix: You joined us at a crazy time. Are you all recovered?

 

Bryn: Almost. Bones are all back, and my nose is only a little crooked now. I kind of like it. Builds character. But they said I’m not allowed to do anything too strenuous for a week. Which feels excessive. I feel better now.

 

Hopper: Response

 

Ukinix: You did an amazing job in the Everest. 6 weeks on a QSD ship, then straight into the action.

Bryn: That’s what we train for. It sure was exciting.

Hopper/Ukinix: Response

Bryn: Were you hurt in the blast? I don’t remember much of it, but I’ve seen the damage. It seemed extensive.

Hopper/Ukinix: Response

Bryn: Well, I’m glad you’re alright. Is there any specific reason you wanted to meet with me? I’ve had a tour, if that’s what you were worried about.
