The plants were all carefully cared for within Ikaia’s lab. Even the Eatoanium was behaving itself. But the plants weren’t the subject of study today. No. What was the current subject was trapped inside a sealed jar right in front of him. It was brown with tentacles radiating out from a cone shaped central body. In other words - a macrovirus. Given the shenanigans of the last mission, acquiring a specimen for study had proven itself rather easy. Right now it was here. In front of him.

Ikaia just barely heard the door chime with his nose deep in his notes. He lazily waved one of his hands as if to welcome his newest visitor.

Wong: Come in!

Ikaia finally looked up from his notes and spun around in his seat.

Wong: Ah! Good to see you, Taelon! I don’t normally get a lot of visitors down here…

Taelon: Response 

Ikaia flicked a glance at the sealed jar and the macro virus trapped within reminding him of the insects he would scoop up as a child.

Wong: Well, I’m currently studying this macrovirus. The last mission gave me an opportunity to take a specimen for study. I’ve always wanted such a specimen. That and one of those pod plants from Omnicrom Ceti III. Call is a medical science wish list.
