The bell rang again, and Aurelio turned to lead his guests back toward the living room. His mother was already at the door.
Aitas: Please, come in, and thank you for coming. There are drinks if you’d like something. The uttaberry juice only just showed up yesterday.
She’d ordered a few other supplies along with that, but it was always easier to put in a request that would fill out a cargo section properly. Even a rather small one.
Cyri: The juice is good. Also, hi.
Aurelio: There you are! ::he paused a moment and then stood up a little stiffer.:: Thank you both for coming.
Ukinix: Response
Taelon: Hello, Commander. I didn’t - um, I didn’t realize you were coming. ::He looked down to Molly; he’d not met her before.:: And, um, you are…?
Molly: Molly Williams. My mum works in engineering.
Aitas pointed to another section of the counter. She had, as per usual, not made any of the food. She wanted Aurelio to actually enjoy the party.
Aitas: There are a few snacks as well, though I do believe the main dessert just arrived.
Ukinix: Response
Taelon smiled at the other guests, though he still seemed nervous. But then, he usually seemed nervous.
Taelon: It’s nice to meet you, Molly. I’m, um, Taelon. And this is my daughter, Cyri.
Cyri: Hello.
Molly: It is nice to meet you!
Aurelio: Taelon worked with my mom when she was in Starfleet. I was really little then.
Aitas just smiled at that. Aurelio didn’t need to be any more reminded of how young he’d been then.
Ukinix/Taelon/Cyri: Response
Molly: You must have come to Amity recently. Five months ago we had a trip to Idrustix. Madeline and Kadain Skyfire joined us too. ::to Aurelio:: were they invited?
Aurelio: Yeah! I think she might have been in another group?
He looked between everyone; it had been a little bit.

Molly: It's okay, I was just curious!

Molly shoved the package she was holding at Aurelio.
Molly: This is for you.
Aurelio accepted the package and hefted it slightly. It didn’t feel that heavy, but lots of very nice things weren’t very heavy. He couldn’t make much of a guess without shaking it and that seemed rude.
Aurelio: Oh, thank you!

Molly: Happy birthday.
Aurelio: I was going to open all the presents in a bit, unless you can’t stay?
At that, he looked between Wil and his mom, then decided to go put the present down with the others. He picked up a couple extra bottles of juice on the way back and held them out toward his guests.

Aitas: We’re not going to run out of juice anytime soon. I had to fill out the cargo spot somehow.
Not just juice, of course, but she had only needed so much alcohol. And a few other things. The Delta Quadrant was very far away from home.

Aurelio: I was showing off my plants! The ones out here are mom’s and she has managed not to kill them yet.
He pointed at said plants, which were looking relatively content and lush at the moment. A few even had buds on them.
Aitas: ::smiling slightly:: Only due to Robin’s intervention, I’m afraid.
Ukinix/Taelon/Cyri/Molly: Response
Aurelio: I’ve got a few ships, too. I need another shelf for them.
Aitas: I suspect one will be in place soon enough.
She absolutely hadn’t arranged to get one set up while Aurelio was off on Idrustix or anything. Of course not.
