[ACT 3] First Secretary Keehani Ukinix - Lack of Diplomacy

//Diplomatic Diary Entry for First Secretary Keehani Ukinix, Ambassadorial Aide.  Stardate 239910.15.

Everyone on the surface of Idrustix has been reunited, thanks to the heroic efforts of Commander Carter, along with Lieutenant Kivik and Commander Hoffman of the USS Kitty Hawk.  They were somehow able to break through the energy field that surrounds this planet with a shuttle.  I am thankful to the Four that the crew of the Kitty Hawk, along with Ambassador Vataix, are safe and well.

We have now established a single encampment, in a rocky, mountainous area of the planet virtually devoid of any life other than a small amount of a fungal type of grass.  While we are thankful that our new location has not recently seen snow, it is still very cold and windy.

I worry that this may be my last diary entry for some time.  After the previous attack by the drone, I myself am feeling unwell. I have therefore asked Commander Wil “Acradem” Ukinix to lead efforts to establish a communications link with the Kitty Hawk, and ensure this location’s safety should the drones return. //

Keehani kept her eyes shut as she listened to Wong, Maveni, Tani and Wil all speaking.

Keehani: ::Wearily:: I am concerned with the tactic of hunting the drones.  It may lead to an escalation, especially if Ambassador Vataix and Captain Rahman are attempting diplomatic efforts with the Trenvonn.

She rolled onto her back and placed her hand on her slightly sweaty forehead.

Keehani: ::Wearily:: Cousin, how confident are you of being able to break through the satellite’s net, and of our defense posture should any drones discover us at our new location?

Keehani, with eyes still closed, reach out and searched for Wil’s hand with her own.

Keehani: ::Wearily:: As Tani and Maveni will be able to sense, and you of course, I do not feel well.
