Hi
We are in Bajor now. Tito is going to meet with the survivor, but he confirms it's not his aunt.
I have a feeling there isn't exactly a happy outcome, but I will let you know more when I can.
Love you Nan
Yours
Vitor

Sil stood at Tito’s left as they watched into the patient's room, from behind the window.
At their right was Doctor Nara. The Bajoran Doctor that was treating the survivor and had reached to Tito.
Nara: I am sorry, but given her hostility and age we weren’t sure what to think.
Tito looked at the wrinkled old woman with sympathy. She wasn’t his aunt, but she was the last survivor. From what the Bajoran survey team could find their ship crashed on that deserted rock almost thirty years ago during the War.
Without a chance to be rescued the surviving Maquis, his aunt included, made due with what they could. Doctor Nara coordinated with the rescuers, and they would, once all the bureaucratic and padwork was completed, exhume the remains so they could be transferred to any family plots.
Tito: Do you mind if I have a few words with her?
Sil took a step back, lurking at the corner. He didn't know what Tito could say or do to his aunt's former comrade. But he had already overstepped by coming along, he didn’t want to bother Tito more.
Nara: I think briefly wouldn’t make any difference. But remember she is very weak and not always lucid, from what we could tell she spent the last six years alone.
Tito nodded, looked at Sil, who stood straight and tipped his head, signaling he was staying behind. He stepped aside and through the door, heading to the biobed.
The old lady looked at him surprised as he reached closer. Tito smiled as he reached to the bedside.
Tito: Hi… I am Vitor Tito
The old lady smiled and reached for his hand
Alvorado: Well what do you know, Rita's nephew. Marjorie Alvorado, Commander. Maquis.
Tito forced himself to keep his smile, and he wasn’t sure what to say.
Tito: The War is over now. And it looks like I arrived a little late.
Alvorado shook her head and pulled his hand closer.
Alvorado: Non sense. We had all accepted that nobody would find us. But here you are.
Tito: But if we had found you sooner… How did my aunt…
Alvorado didn’t let him finish his sentence.
Alvorado: Please… We fought for what we believed, we fought to survive, and then we just survived. None of us had any regrets and you want to know how your aunt…
Tito tipped his head as Alvorado paused.
Alvorado: How did your aunt come up with the idea of making a green house? That I will gladly tell you.
Tito smiled and nodded. The former Commander was right, that would be something good to learn. They kept talking until Doctor Nara cut in. It was a good chat and in a way they celebrated her life.
Tito would later know that Commander Alvorado was instrumental in aiding with the corpse identifications, dying peacefully almost a year after their encounter.
