OOC: I have forgotten to post this. These are the sims from the previous shoreleave that will explain Tito and Sil’s absence in these weeks.

Taisa my love, forgive me.
I should have talked to you before leaving, but the urgency of the matter caught me by surprise and all I could do was take action.
I don't recall if I ever told you the whole story, to me it was already a closed subject, when my aunt was declared MIA all those years ago.
Back in the day, when I was just a kid, my aunt joined the Maquis. She was declared MIA during the War and to me and my Grandfather it was the only closure we had.
But I received a message from Bajor. They had found a elderly Maquis survivor on a backwater planet in the Badlands, and found evidence that possibly point to her being my aunt.
I hope you understand why I had to leave in such haste. I asked Sil for help, and as always that idiot couldn't help himself and now I have him seated beside me.
I would prefer to do this by myself, but that stubborn buffoon doesn't allow it.
I will send you another message as soon as I can. I miss you so much.
Love
Tito

To: Lieutenant Commander Jovenan
NCC 81287 USS Artemis-A
Nan, sorry for just reaching out now.
I think I have mentioned Tito, my brother from other parents as I say, so when he asked me for a favor I had to answer.
And, knowing me as you do, I had to impose my company on him.
I just couldn't let him handle this alone. Even if he wanted to.
Back in the day his aunt defected to the Maquis. She was later declared as missing and Tito thought she died somewhere.
I don't exactly know the details, but somewhere in the Badlands they found a survivor, and it looks like it might be his aunt.
That's why we are flying there.
I hope you understand, I was really hoping to spend this time of the year with you.
I will message you again soon my love.
Vitor

Sil returned with a tray in hand, slowly showing it to Tito. Two dessert bowls and spoons rested there, almost like Sil waiting for some reaction.
Tito kept his head forward and only moved his eyes, he stared at Sil for a second and with a disdainful tone he simply replied.
Tito: I am not hungry Commander.
Sil shook his head. Rightfully or not Tito could be exasperating.
Silveira: C’mon… Look, I know I screwed up… I am sorry… For the hundredth time. ::Sil moved the tray a little more towards Tito.:: It’s a peace offering…
Tito again only looked, first at the tray, then at Sil. His eyes returned to the space ahead on the viewscreen and the instruments on the pilot seat. At least Tito didn’t need to wrestle Sil for the helm. The idiot.
Tito loved him like a brother but this time he had stepped on the line. It was as bad as when the Resolution was destroyed. Worse. That childish behavior of acting before thinking, that pompous self confidence that no matter what Sil was always right.
Tito remained with that trademark unemotional expression of his. Serious, quiet, contemptuous. But his tone changed as he finally replied after a few seconds.
Tito: You're going to be sorry for a long time Lieutenant Commander Vitor Stone Silveira.
Sil resisted replying and took a deeper breath. Still holding the tray he shrugged. Tito finally turned his head and looked him straight in the eyes.
Tito: I chose to do this alone, and even being like a brother, if there was someone to be in that place, by my side that would be Taisa. Not you.
Sil nodded and looked down. Perhaps this time he really overstepped.
Silveira: I am sorry…
Tito took the tray from Sil’s hands and looked at the dessert. He was still mad at Sil, but he made his point, and he would remember Sil constantly of that. But he couldn’t waste the Camel Drool that Sil prepared. Setting the tray in front of him Tito picked up the spoon.
Sil sighed with relief, Tito was p… Mad. But at least he was going to eat. He gestured to pick up the second dessert bowl when Tito snapped his head in his direction.
If Tito’s eyes were phaser’s Sil would have been obliterated from existence.
Raising his hands defensively he took a step back.
Another lesson learned, don’t follow Tito if he wants to be alone.
And don’t get near his Drool.
