Hi Everyone!

We'll be meeting next tuesday, February 23, at 6:30pm in BioLabs 1058
for another exciting synthetic biology journal club meeting. This week
we'll be discussing Gardner, Cantor & Collins 2000 Nature paper
"Construction of a genetic toggle switch in Escherichia coli" (you
should be able to download the pdf from here:
http://homepages.ulb.ac.be/~dgonze/TEACHING/toggle.pdf or find it on
pubmed, let me know if you have trouble getting the pdf for any
reason).

We'll be talking about how the switch was constructed, what kinds of
parameters are important and how they figured it out, and applications
of genetic switches in other systems and what it can be used for.
Bring your questions, thoughts and comments!

Hope to see you there!
Christina
