Farmer John DeBruin sells locally grown organic chicken and 100% grass-
fed/grass-finished beef, and Farmer Katherine Anderson sells locally-
grown organic chicken. John's beef is at the Sunday and Thursday
Farmer's Market, and the IV Food Co-op. His beef is also an option if
you sign up for Local Harvest Delivery or Plow to Porch Delivery
services. Katherine's chicken is featured on the menu at the Biltmore
Coral Casino and the Ballard Inn, so if you feel like eating out in
October, those are good places to go!

This is great. I don't think too many people know about Katherine Anderson, because she doesn't sell at one of the farmers markets. But you can get in touch with her via Island Seed & Feed in Goleta, or by email blueoak...@gmail.com.

We are going to have a lot of information about grass-fed beef in the fall issue of Edible Santa Barbara. Here's a list of resources:

In terms of chicken, there is also Lily's Chickens (at many local farmers markets) and Healthy Family Farms (at the Saturday farmers market)
