Im trying to find a manual online and I'm not having any luck. I need to know the deregister/reregister procedure for an Alcatel Lucent 4029 handset. I'm trying to move a number from one desk to another one, so we just need to deregister handset 2, deregister handset 1 and then register the number from handset 1 onto the now blank handset 2.
Then you can hang up. To hook on the new phone (or a different number on the same phone) pick up the handset, dail your extension number and then type in the same admin password (0000 default). Note of course you can't move the number till you deregister it from the first handset.

I definitely ran into what @franckdanard mentioned when trying to set up a couple of our Alcatel 4018EE sets. I had finally got it to work - as in I could make calls from it and it could receive calls. However functionality was gone, the screen just showed the extension or caller ID. I had got the necessary files from our current OXE through FTP.
With this CPU, you can get the files and firmwares to be used on a FreePBX system.
Just adapte the tftboot directory allowing your phone to be provisionned with the right config.
The worst will be to get these files without CPU card or any sources.
If its quiet where you are and few people using Bluetooth devices then they will be fine, however in a normal working space we thoroughly recommend either a dedicated wired professional headset connected to the headset jack on the back of the phone or a Professional DECT wireless headset, especially if call quality is important to you.
The answer is simple, noise cancelling on Bluetooth headsets are average at best, if not, none existent in some cases. Where as a professional headset for Alcatel-Lucent will offer excellent noise cancelling and clear call quality.
For provisioning buttons, the setting up of buttons is described in buttons . There, you will see how to prepare a new buttons profile, how to set up the individual buttons (like BLF) and how to map that profile to a specific extension. The numbers for the buttons correspond to the buttons on the phone. If a number is not added in the profile, that button will not be set on the phone.
Log into the web interface of the phone, and according to the model, navigate to the page where you can enter the provisioning server address. In model 8085S, the setting is called DM URL found under page "Settings" > "Network" > "DM" as shown below.
If your phone is in the same LAN as the PBX, then you don't have to do many of the above things and simply be able to provision almost any phone with a single press of a button by using this feature of the PBX.Make sure the phone is factory reset (or at least have the default username and password). You still have to do the Steps Before Provisioning but after that, just go to the PBX page Setup Devices in LAN where the PBX will show you all the phones it has automatically detected in the LAN.You simply choose the phones you want to provision, assign each one a domain and extension and press "Setup", and that's it. The phones will be provisioned. For details on this feature, please go to: Setup Devices in LAN.

In 2014, the Alcatel-Lucent group split into two: Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, providing enterprise communication services, and Alcatel-Lucent, selling to communications operators. The enterprise business was sold to China Huaxin Post and Telecom Technologies in the same year,[2] and in 2016 Nokia acquired the remainder of Alcatel-Lucent.[3][4]
The company focused on fixed, mobile and converged networking hardware, IP technologies, software and services, with operations in more than 130 countries. In 2014, it had been named Industry Group Leader for Technology Hardware & Equipment sector in Dow Jones Sustainability Indices review,[5] and listed in the 2014 Thomson Reuters Top 100 Global Innovators for the 4th consecutive year.[6] Alcatel-Lucent also owned Bell Laboratories, one of the largest research and development facilities in the communications industry, whose employees have been awarded nine Nobel Prizes and which holds in excess of 29,000 patents.[7]
Alcatel-Lucent was formed when Alcatel (originally short for the Socit Alsacienne de Constructions Atomiques, de Tlcommunications et d'lectronique, a small company in Mulhouse absorbed by CGE in 1966) merged with Lucent Technologies on 1 December 2006. However, the predecessors of the company have been a part of telecommunications industry since the late 19th century. The company has roots in two early telecommunications companies: La Compagnie Gnrale d'lectricit (CGE) and the Western Electric Manufacturing Company.[11]
